Rating: Summary: Finally, a solution that makes sense... and is affordable! Review: I am really getting tired of the false information I get due to poor scholarship. I attended a chiropractic school that pushed "drinking lots of water", much like this book is claiming that this is a wonderful cure for disease and good thing to do. After years of doing this I have been informed that my bladder has distended (stretched out) so now I have difficulty fully emptying it. My urologist says that it is not healthy to drink too much water since this is what happens. The cure is to drink less water, only when you are thirsty and it will go back to normal. If you are thirsty then drink a healthy drink (water, tea, vegetable juice). So don't waste money on this book or the ignorant chiropractors who recommend it. It will save you a trip to the urologist and problems with your bladder.
Rating: Summary: Book= all testimonials, but theory is great! Please Read: Review: I have hated water as long as I can remember. While reading the testimonials (thats what THIS BOOK is people), it occurred to me all the times I refused water- I drank anything and everything but. I love liquids, I would be happy if everything I consumed was liquified somehow, thats how much I prefer to drink instead of eat solid foods. Why not water? Tastes awful, especially the only water was that awful tap water when I was growing up. Though I have been forced to drink water out of bottles because I was also very athletic, I still couldn't believe people were PAYIING for bottled water. It has no taste, vitamins or anyhting I could find attractive. It wasn't as bad as tap water , but it sure wasn't milk, juice, diet soda, wine, beer, frozen yougurt smoothies, etc etc. Then I had a accident and had to have my spine fused and rebuilt. My discs were ruptured. I am better (walking) but not right. It was pointed out (in a second opinion) to me that my back was still not fused all the way at this point (2 plus years) and the remaining discs are losing their fluidity. I have not recoverd as much mobility and freedom of movement as a lot of others with the same surgery. I ahve been ticked of about this, and unable to work or play. I have gained weight, developed throat paralysis (throat closes up and cannot breathe at any given time of day or night) extreme skin hives,an irritable small intrestine which regurgitates alot of my meals (Can't proceess food). While I have it settled down a little, I noticed I am exceptionally tired, look haggard , have high anxiety and dry eyes and hair, and am even more thirsty that I was most of my life. I have been checked for sugar imbalances and organ irregularities. I have always well supplied myself with nutriotional supplements and ate the politically correct food ( except water) and have been distressed about my failing health and inablity to recover more from the spine surgery. I am NOT a hypochondriac, quite the opposite; I have always loved to be doing anything that's outside, physical and has a lot of exertion involved, like running, hiking and weight lifting. I have been trying to reclaim my body and push my limits every day, but seem to get nowhere. Yesterday I began to drink the water. Today I am continuing, and am going to buy Redmond Sea Salt as recommended, because the La Baleine Sea SaltI have used is refined and thus lacks the nutrients I always assumed were there(according to Dr. Batman****** on his website). I have studied about and used herbal and homepathic remedies for many years and have never seen a simple system like this. I hate to admit it but if it works for me I won't be surprised, ( and I am a skeptic) because of my lifetime stubborness to refuse water (in the past three years I have just begun to drink MAYBE a 2-3 cups a day). I am full, but I am going to stick it out for at least a month. I will write back to report the results. If this is really the case with most people, all I have to say is "Duh!" What were we ever thinking before? and hope it's not too late, either. This Book is all and only testimonials. I had to order the original one today: "The many cries for water" to read more about it (theory). Back in a month! J.J. .
Rating: Summary: don't waste your money... Review: I read Dr. Batmanghledg's first book "Your body's many cries for water". It was an excellent book!!!! So I was attracted to the title of this book "Water cures: drugs kill" Great title!!! But lousy book. It's 100% testimonials...just several pages of his own words...all the testimonials are just "rah rah rah". I mean, it's helpful...but it was a waste of my money...just stick with his first book...

Rating: Summary: Finally, a solution that makes sense... and is affordable! Review: I was so happy to find this resource. It is a natural remedy for many ailments, most of which I cannot afford to obtain prescription medicines to manage. On the water-salt program I have felt 100% better from my mood to my 'former' joint pain. My allergies seem to be subsiding too. As long as the salt intake balances the increased water I have no side effects. It makes perfect sense... like the life-sustaining saline solution in an emergency room!
