Summary: Practical approaches in a fun, no-nonsense book
Review: While trying to build my Feng Shui library, I found many books to be either too complicated and wordy or too focused on one particular aspect of the art. Also, most books don't provide simple and practical suggestions that aren't just silly or superstitious cures. While I do believe in the principals of balancing energies and helping the chi to flow through environments, I have a hard time believing in some authors' ideas.

I received this book as a gift and on first impression was prepared to be amused. However, this book is by far the most referred to book in my library! It provides a thorough study of working with the bagua, as well as the elements, colors, and Eastern astrology to create harmony within your home and your life.

It relies a bit on crystals and candles, which I understand is a Westernization of Feng Shui. But it is not heavy-handed with "cures" and delves deeply and comprehensively into the big picture of the art.
