The second book was very thorough and showed me the kind of questions to be ready for on my exams in medical microbiology class in my med school. Both proved quite helpful. Both are must buys. In fact, I have a friend in a different med school and she used these same books and also got good grades in her medical microbiology class.

Review: This is a quick important review for microbiology. It is well-organized and easy to read. This study aid also helps to retain information for microbiology class and USLME boards. However, if you really want a great study guide for medical microbiology class and for USLME, study the following book by Patrick Leonardi:
Microbiology Study Guide: Key Review Questions and Answers (ISBN: 0971999635), which is sold on amazon. Both books are very helpful. Half of my class used both of these books and everyone got at least an A or B.
