Summary: All should abide by the Wiccan Rede...)O(
Review: I absolutely LOVED this book...however, Aqua_Illusion would have you believe that Silver somehow went against the Wiccan Rede. But, it doesn't...the only way it could do that is if there spells designed to specifically manipulate another's free will, curse someone, or cast a love spell with someone specific in your mind and heart. But, there is nothing here to proove that! After all, The Wiccan Rede should be adopted by *all* practitioners of magick, for only a fool would cast spells that do otherwise then what The Wiccan Rede states. After all, there's far too much negativity in the world, as it is...why would you want to add to that? Anyway, but this book...it's GREAT. Albeit, not quite as good as the other 2 books in the series for 2 reasons: I thought that she would have included some information or idease for Love Altars and the Pagan Rite known as Handfasting. 2.) And, as a fan of the magickal oil recipes of Morgaga, from "Morgana's Chamber" I had expected some of her personal magickal incense and oil recipes within it. But, don't allow those laccking bits of info. to dtere you. Buy this book, and Blessed Be,,,)O(

Summary: This book is the best!
Review: I was having trouble getting guys until i bought this book. I did one of the spells in this book and now i am one of the most popular girls in my school. The boys will do whatever i want them to do now. This is really powerful magick so be careful when you are using it. It is very easy to become too popular when working with this book. You know, guys calling you all the time and wanting you to sneak out with them, etc.

Summary: Excuse me while I lose my lunch...
Review: If you have any sense of ethics, please don't buy this book.

$RW keeps whipping them out-- nevemind about ethics, accountability, responsibility....

Most Wiccans do NOT give out love spells... Most of us don't give out spells at all, or at least we can be sure that the recipient has a solid grasp of what they are getting into.

This book disgusts me, as do all of her cute little "spell books"

Summary: Cute specialized little book...
Review: Now, I bought this book knowing full well I have no need for what was within its pages -being happily married- so I got to take it from a slightly different perspective. When I read them over, I was looking more for different techniques and magickal systems used for the spells.
The number of spells was completely satisfactory, and a lot of them were the ethical kind to find the person you were suppposed to, not charm someone who was ignoring you. But I found that the different array was confusing. I also thought a great number of the spells were entirely too involved for someone who might be tempted to use them, such as a teenager. The groupings did help one follow what the general idea was behind certain kinds of spells. But for the most part it seemed that there were so many different deities and techniques used that it was just too busy! I can't recall a single spell from that book.
I would recommend it for someone who is seriously interested in using magick to find their Mr. or Mrs. Right and likes the option of multiple techniques. It would also be something really cute to hand out on Valentine's Day. I personally keep it as a reference in case somebody asks me and I know they resonate with a certain tradition or goddess. But overall, I think a little more organization and a little less of everything under the sun would serve it well.

Summary: Fun, neat ideas
Review: This book has only cursory guidelines to practicing magick, and I hope that people have at least some magickal background before picking this up and trying out the contents.

For those who do, I found it filled with neat ideas.

I liked the fact that not all the spells were about getting guys/girls, and instead included other relationships like family, friends and pets--maintaining long term relationships--and getting over failed ones.

It's a fun collection of ideas that work, that can be used as inspiration for coming up with your own.

Re; a previous review--information on darker stuff, like protection from stalkers, is in the prior book SILVER'S SPELLS FOR PROTECTION.

Summary: This book is the best!
Review: We've all known that $ilver has sold out several books ago, and this just continues the trend. Most spell books are a crock. A trained Wiccan doesn't need another pop spell book. The important thing is to understand magickal theory and correspondences for creating spellwork.

A book on love spells is also a bad idea. The general public is always thinking about love spells when Witches are mentioned, yet we learn that what the public thinks of as love spells are extremely unethical. Considering the the target audience of this book, teens and newbies, $ilver has shown her lapse of ethics.

If you want love in your life, you'd do a lot better to just dress well, bathe regularly, and work on your personality than read this book

Summary: This Spell Book gives a wide range of spells.
Review: Well this yet another one of Ravenwolf's spellbooks. I have the other 2 books already. This one deals with love hence the name. Well some of these spells in here do against the rede, which is fine for me since I am not Wiccan. However since this comes from a wiccan author she should know better. She contradicts herself way too much. Now the spells are pretty good.
