Review: For year's my family has gone without traditions and celebrations of any kind. Everytime we gather as a family it is a disaster! This book has brought me hope that there can be a time in my life where we can gather together as a happy family and enjoy ourselves. If I don't have a copy of this book for my very own library, my family and I will suffer for all eternity. Please reprint this beautiful book!

Review: I found this book comforting to realize how many pressures faced the family unit a century ago which are similar to those we face at the end of this century. Preserving family traditions and strengthening family ties is becoming the focus of many young families and Mrs. Sharp's Traditions help us to begin creating our own version of that special place called "home". Please reprint this book so its many observations and wisdom may help future generations. There are many "how to" books on the market to help do everything from choosing baby names to investing for college. Mrs. Sharp's "how to" is one of the most readable, realistic books on parenting and providing children with something we all would benefit from; a happy, secure childhood.Thank you Sarah Ban Breathnach!! I read your book on loan from the library and would dearly love to have this book in my own collection of all things Victorian. I, too, often feel as though I am living at th! ! e wrong end of this century and this book is one of the best I've read. Now that Victoriana seems to be in style again I am able to indulge in my continuing interest in how our great grandparents lived. Information is very accessable but becomes frustrating when such a great reference book is no longer in print. There must be other people out there who would like their children to experience many of the simple, happy times childhood used to be made up of instead of so much hi-tech entertainment Please consider reprinting this book; there are people out there who haven't even heard of Mrs. Sharp yet but will value her insight when they are able to discover her book for themselves.

Review: I have greatly enjoyed reading this book. The local public library has the only copy I know of. I would buy this book if it were available. Please reprint this wonderful source of ideas to bring families back to a wonderful way of sharing and spending time together.

Review: I have read every book that Susan Ban Breathnach has written and have loved them all. However, Mrs. Sharp's Traditions is a jewel in today's world. It truly focuses on family traditions and celebrations and helps those of us who juggle career, family and home. It is a shame that this book is no longer in print. It took me 3 months to get it at our local library. I highly encourage the publisher to re-print.

Review: I've loved my Simple Abundance book since I received it as a gift last year for my birthday. When I found that the author of that book also wrote this one, I requested it from the library. What a wonderful book it is! I immediately went out to buy a copy but found it is no longer available. I would love to have this to read regularly and have for my own!

It makes practicle, charming suggestions on how to enjoy everyday and make every day a little more special for you and your family. It's beautifully illustrated and written and oh-so unavailable. There's always a wait list at the library. This book needs to be reprinted. Please write Simon and Schuster and let's help convince them!
