Summary: a little book with a lot of wisdom
Review: I wish I could give this book to everyone on the planet. Its 129 pages are full of wisdom and love. Every chapter has something to help me make the most of my life, bring a smile to my heart, reveal or remind me of a great truth.
I found myself highlighting so many passages...hardly a page is left without some of my neon green pen on it. "Good Luck Bad Luck" is a great chapter, and tells the story of how a wonderful event that altered Kehoe's life, happened because of a flat tire, which made him miss a ferry boat he was scheduled to be on.
"Gratitude" is another terrific chapter, and it includes a beautiful poem by Rumi entitled "The Guest House". "The Giveaway" contains some priceless American Indian wisdom...some of the other chapter titles are "Creative Choices, Creative Actions", "Loving Kindness", "Fun, Joy and Nonsense", and 5 more.
The layout is excellent, with enough spacing to make it easy to read, and with several photos, some of them quite marvelous...the one of Gandhi and Nehru is my favorite.
This is a book that I'll be rereading from time to time, a constant reminder of the path to happiness and inner peace.
John Kehoe has a simple and lovely writing style, and his "Mind Power into the 21st Century" was a life-changer for me. He continues to illuminate with this volume, a little treasure worth more than diamonds and gold.
