Summary: Charmingly Gossipy
Review: Covers the same basic information you find in most feng shui books these days. Does have more of a Taoist twist with more emphasis on religious ceremonies for space clearing, exorcisms, etc. More interestingly, it is chock full of gruff, grandfatherly style anecdotes "as told to the author" as regards the superstitious end of feng shui. Not to be seriously compared with Lillian Too, but nice to have to get some perspective on how feng shui is approached and used in the Orient in its popular, "unsanitized" version. Nuggets of arcane information.

Summary: lighting the eye of the reader
Review: Having studied authentic fengshui methods, several forms of Chinese astrology, fortune telling and Taoist secret methods, i.e. sorcery, with a Taoist master, whose name I respectfully withhold here, I was curious about this book of "inner secrets". In some details it is interesting. In others it is questionable. I find the author's tendency to obscure and pie some of her information very annoying. She tauntingly hints about secret and allegedly difficult I-Ching astrological divination methods that, in fact are not so difficult to learn. There are a number of such methods. They are amazing in what they reveal. The author hopelessly mystifies this area. Too bad she doesn't share it properly. If she cared to write about these methods, instead of confusing them, she should have been open and explained them clearly and completely so that the readers could have learned them. On the other hand, she should have said nothing. What is the point of mystifying the subject? Something else in the book I found highly questionable in light of Taoist sorcery is the ways she recommends using mirrors. She can fill your house with bad spirits that way. Notwithstanding the above, and the often supercilious tone in which she writes, the book does have some very good material that makes it well worth exploring.

Summary: We are patients and it appears he can cure anything
Review: The man is an absolute genius in his field. We are patients and have been treated by him in his clinic and it is our opinion he can cure anything and increase life.. He's got to be one of the most enlightened beings on the planet and it's an absolute honor to be treated by him. His treatments get rid of not just physical problems but mental problems as well. Reading the book only touches on what Dr.Wu can really do. You can tell from the first treatment that you will never be the same again and will not keep suffering from the same old problems over and over anymore. You know the treatment works and the results continue to get better and better and better and there is no end to how great you can feel. If you have been to many doctors for your problems (especially long standing problems no one can figure out) it is my opinion that Dr. Wu CAN figure it out and fast! The problems my husband I have had for 25 years were solved in one visit when we finally found out where it really came from and what to do about it.
Gosh when I think of all those poor souls who take drugs to feel good, when they could take that same money and be getting acupuncture and curing their physical and mental problems without wrecking themselves, - this is the message I want to bring as to what Dr. Wu can do. He is not like just 'any' acupuncturist. He has been trained in his field from a young age from great masters and it appears to me he puts his own spiritual energy into the needles as well, which gives you that extra boost. So all of you out there, I recommend somehow getting to his clinic in Santa Monica, California. It is like a vacation for us each and every time we go there since we feel utterly recharged/refreshed/renewed, passion for living comes back and more!!...

Review: This book on Feng Shui really gets into the nitty-gritty of working on qi problems for homes and land. Wu is one of the first in the recent spate of Feng Shui authors to really give some good details about working on your own internal energy in order to be able to sense and hopefully fix qi problems in your home. That is, this book is not just about rearranging some furniture or clearing some clutter, it is more about how to train yourself to detect qi and then be able to work out possible solutions for many types of problems.Highly recommended; you just need to do some Qigong to start working on fixing your internal "clutter".

Review: With great sensitivity and kindness, feng shui master Dr. Baolin reveals Taoist esoteric eternal truths. We are all very fortunate that his rare wisdom from the Taoist White Cloud monastery now exists in English! This is the only feng shui book that includes chi kung exercises to cultivate chi; the importance of children and specific animals in feng shui; and tales bordering on the shamanic, such as how to use (or not use) lions in feng shui. I look forward to many more books from Dr. Baolin Wu, including a book on Taoist medicine. Much gratitiude for offering Westerners the next step on the path of Taoist feng shui.
