Summary: Ladies: Get This Book for Your Husband or Boyfriend!
Review: As I read through this book, I kept checking the name of the author to make sure a guy actually wrote it! Steven Guerrero somehow figured out exactly what women want and need, and lets guys know it is okay to spoil your wife or girlfriend. He even captures those little things that guys usually don't "get" about women. I had my boyfriend read the book, too, and after reading non-stop through the first few chapters, he said to me "this is pretty good stuff." (A pretty amazing compliment, coming from a bachelor of 43 years!) This book is the "Men are Mars, Women are from Venus" for the 21st century.

Review: As I was reading Gentlemen Start Her Engine I was thinking of how refreshing it is to see that "romance" is still alive. I really enjoyed reading the different senerios that Mr Guerrero created for his lucky wife for the special occasions in their life together. I think what the author points out in his book is a very powerful
fact of life. Couples take eachother for granted and seem to forget the simple things that keep a relationship healty and strong. Gentlemen Start Her Engine is full of very practical and common sense suggestion to help couples of all ages keep their relationships "running smooth". I loved The Workbook at the end of this book!! This is a wonderful tool for couples to use to get to know eachother again
or for young couples just getting started....to start out learning about eachother by filling out the workbook together. It can be a fun and even intimate experience This is a great concept and I think all couples can benefit from this book...so get yourself a copy and get a "jumpstart" and you too can "rev up" your relationship. I loved Steven's simple, thorough and fun! approach to getting to know me ... Found out that I am a Diesel Engine Woman (and proud of it!). His "Romantic History List" was a excellent tool to recall the precious past and keep up with the present ... recorded My Favorites, Not My Favorites, Pet Peeves and Wishes. I carried this book with me for weeks (why rush?) into coffee shops and atmospheres wherever my Love and I could be comfortable and communicate. The intimacy these exercises created is priceless. Thank you Steven.

Review: Steve really knows what he's talking about. My husband and I just finished reading this book and even my husband (who rarely reads) really enjoyed it. Summary: A Real Relationship Joyride
Review: Thanks to Gentlemen, Start Her Engine--And Keep It Running not only did my husband discover I'm a "Diesel Engine Woman" (yikes!) but he learned all about MY mechanics as a woman and the fuel that gets and keeps my motor running. As a result, I've become more driven to take him where he wants to be by providing for his needs and desires-- and not just sexually either. Steven Guerrero's targeted material really is about being a leader in love through taking initiative, being considerate and paying attention to detail. In chapter 1, The Relationship Information Race: How You Could Be Choosing to Win or Lose, Mr. Guerrero powerfully points out that paying attention to detail is something we already do diligently in many areas of our life. Sadly those other areas are far less important than our loved one. And yes, the book does encourage men to get behind the wheel of their own relationship. This is not a book for "boys" or "the poor workman who curses his tools." It's a book that will make loving leaders out of men. Feminist extremists fear not. Mr. Guerrero teaches men how to lead with respect and in such a way that there are no followers, just the willing and happy to travel side by side. My husband learned how to better love and except me for who I am and what I do daily. If you're one who gets easily offended by metaphors, do yourself a favor. Get over it! This book is too darn good to let pride and ego get in the way of progress. Let yourself have a little fun. The author's strategy and workbook materials made it simple and fun for my husband and I to communicate. In addition to the book enlightening us to the truth about why so many marriages continue to fail, it equipped us with concrete strategies and tools to succeed in our own relationship. The lists in the book have made it easier for my husband to interact with and romance me. Along with other chapters in the book, chapter 6, Racing to Win: Don't Crash and Burn, taught me the importance of encouraging my husband so he doesn't burnout. If you want a book that combines the perfect amount of logical psychology, common sense, romantic expertise, reality and a slew of other relationship strengthening techniques, this is the book for you. I admit women can be more complex when it comes to love. There isn't a logical reason why we shouldn't make it easier for men to love us. Mr. Guerrero's book simplifies the acts of love that will intensify rewarding feelings of love for everyone. I'm glad I let this book simplify loving me and intensify the love in my marriage. I'm very excited to see what Mr. Steven Guerrero publishes next. Until then, thank you very much Mr. Guerrero for a book I believe will become the 57 Chevy of relationship classics.

Review: This book was a lifesaver! It provided tools and examples and really embraced my partner without putting him on the defensive. I recommend this book whole-heartedly. Thank goodness for authors that care!

Summary: Men, don't be afraid to ask for directions
Review: We men know how much we hate to ask for directions. When accepting we might be a bit lost, Mr. Guerrero's guide to a healthier and happier relationship with by best friend and true love of over 30 years helped get me back on track. The author will give you some excellent ideas on how to make a strong relationship even better. Get this book, read it and incorporate whatever works for you.
