Summary: Finally, a book that can truly change your life around.
Review: I was thrilled to hear that there was a place in which I could express to others how much this incredible book has truly helped me. Like anyone who may have a bad relationship with food, I have spent so many years stuggling with the overwhelming urges to eat when I am not hungry, have a day turn "bad" with binging or simply just obsessivly thinking about food! These actions literally controlled my life, how I would treat people, if I would go to work or social events and so many other things. These things were all determined on whether or not I felt I was having a "good" or "bad" day, I was so out of control with my actions and thoughts of food! I knew, being a person who was (or at least appreared to others to be) a pretty "normal" person in most other areas of my life, that there had to be some reason I was doing doing so lousy at this one, but I could not figure out why. I found Suzanne's book and instantly knew I had found something different, something that could really help me, by using my "inner guide" and intuition and finally getting to the root of the problem. And I have discovered that this problem is all in our thinking patterns and the habits that we have created. Conquer Your Cravings explains this idea, which I knew would be my only way to gain peace and freedom with food and myself. Suzanne has this process, which explains how we are literally able to STOP ourselves when the cravings and thoughts arise, and before any major destructive behavior can actually begin. This process has not only taught me how to acknowledge these negative thoughts and stop them, but it explains WHY they come about and what we can actually do to eliminate and control them. I will continue to work on the processes that are given to me in this book for the rest of my life, my "bad" days are getting less and less and I am utilizing the control that I now know I have by using these wonderful steps and ideas.

Review: I wish Amazon could make an exception to thier system and give Conquer your Cravings 7 stars. In short, this book changed my life. I have struggled with weight problems my whole life and in this time have read many books which promised a "quick-and-easy" fix. Conquer Your Cravings does not promise this;in fact, it warns you that conquering your cravings will be an uphill battle. However, it also gives you the armor to go into battle. First, it teaches you to "hear your thoughts" because often when you are craving cookies, beneath it all you are craving something greater: fullfillment in a relationships, perhaps. This book taught me to be true to myself and to listen to my intuition. With it, I got rid of my neagtive thoughts that have impeded my performance for my whole life (i.e. I can't do this.) and replaced them with affirmations. I am now more successful in my every day life and happier. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to lose weight and wants to lead a happier, more fulfilling life.
