Childhood abuse is neglected to a high extend and the bio of some labelled psychopaths is uncritically integrated in their research findings. Too "popular psychology" orientated.

However, controversional issues are rised and this book offers a broad variety of current thoughts on psychopathy.

Summary: A very comprehensive review of psychopathy
Review: Utilizing this book in writing a paper for graduate school, I found it to be very helpful and thorough. The foremost experts in antisocial personality disorders and psychopathy have collaborated to comment on everything from history and etiology, to recent developments in comorbidity and treatment. A must have for anyone interested in the subject.
