Review: This is the 20th and final volume of the Collected Works of Carl Jung (1875-1961), the "General Index to the Collected Works", assembled by editors and first published in 1979. Clearly, this is not a book one reads from cover to cover. Nevertheless, it is indispensable to anyone studying Jung in depth or compiling a "Jungian" interpretation of something. Jung was extraordinarily well read in philosophy, comparative religion & mythology, and alchemy, and his works are dense with those quotes. He frequently cites dreams to illustrate a point, and one can look up these exemplary dreams by topic in this index. This is a unique reference work.
