Summary: Brings new depth to your spiritual practice
Review: As a spiritual seeker, I have meditated for many years. But, I don't think I really "understood" the power and purpose of silence until I encountered this book. It gave me new insight and practical ways to grow and deepen my practice. Like all of Joseph Dispenza's books, 'On Silence' is beautiful in its simplicity. If you haven't encountered this author before (see 'The Way of the Traveler') you should! He has a wonderfully poetic writing style that's inspirational and a sheer pleasure to read.

Summary: On Silence: 30 Days to a Powerful Spiritual Practice
Review: From the first words in the introduction that say "this book is about one of the greatest of all spiritual practices - the simple observance of silence" to the last quote by William Shakespeare, "the rest is silence", Joseph Dispenza has given us a great gift. He describes a very powerful and ancient spiritual practice with simplicity and beauty. It's almost as if, when reading the book, I became more "silent" inside. His words invoke silence, his thoughts stir the memories of silence, and he gives the methods to achieve silence with such grace that it's easy to imagine that this could become a lifelong practice. Thank you, Joseph, for your wisdom and direction. And, also for sharing the depth of your own personal experiences during your one year of silence. Bravo!
