Rating: Summary: Wonderful book and very relevant for American men! Review: I really enjoyed this book! I am an American man who is trying to understand more about friendship. The title is a bit depressing, but it makes an important point about American men. The book gives a good analysis on what constitutes friendship and how to maintain friendships. Also gives a good self-analysis tool on friendship to rate oneself on one's own friendship-making/maintaining abilities. It also analyzes how American culture in particular tends to sabotage rather than foster friendships between men (not that that lets them off the hook, though). I highly recommend this book!
