Summary: Well presented self-help
Review: I had been seeing a counselor for a couple of months during a bitter divorce. The sessions had become more or less a chance to chat while waiting for the next crises. I asked the counselor if there was something that I could do for myself, and she suggested this book. I spent some time reading it and then used the exercises for the next few months. They were very effective, and even though I did proceed with the divorce, I was able to maintain an even emotional balance throughout.

Highly Recommended

Summary: This book will show you how to make yourself happy
Review: This may be the most useful book I've read in all 4 years of my medical training. I'm working with Dr. Maultsby right now as a medical student and he's having us read this book as part of the clerkship. I'm applying what I'm learning to my own personal day-by-day problems and I'm getting FANTASTIC results.
It's a great book for anyone from schizophrenics or depression patients to therapists, medical students, and moms. If you have a functioning brain, and you are having trouble coping with life's many problems, you can use this information. I only wish I had known about it years ago!
