This book is an excellent book for undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in the public health issues facing the international community.

This book is up to date and an easy read.

We at Yale have adopted this book for our graduate students in the Masters of Public Health Program.

Dr. Buckingham has written a very timely piece of work.

Review: Professor Buckingham has certainly addressed a timely subject. This is a must read for every medical and public health student interested in the health issues facing our worlds population. Dr. Buckingham has focused on the most pressing issues such as nutrition, enviromental health, and newly emerging infectious diseases that may soon affect all of us.
