Summary: One of a kind!
Review: A very informative, well-researched book on a subject never before published for the general public. Spirits interact with us all the time, not just in sexual ways, but emotional ones as well. I am not at all convinced that human beings have relations with any other spirits than those of departed human souls, although this book does not imlpy this--that the spirits conjured for sexual relations are those of the daughters and sons of Lilith. For most common people, the easiest spirits to come in contact with are those of the departed. They can be extrememly powerful, don't kid yourself. I tried variations of the ritual in this book, and after several experiments, have found that the ritual the author gives, followed to the letter, gives the best result. Terrific book--don't miss it.

Summary: Tediously unexciting
Review: I have never had a relationship with a woman and bought this book, hoping that it will teach me how to form a healthy relationship with "female" spirits. Was I disappointed! The practices contained in this book can only bring more unwanted attention into your life, making you more miserable. It's a tedious read that is not for the beginner. I should have spent my money buying yet another dating manual for attracting a living female. If only attracting loving astral lovers is as easy as Hollywood and TV make it out to be!

Summary: Quite an eye opener
Review: I learned alot about the world of spirits from this book. I also learned to take it more seriously. The author gives a thorough lesson on the world of human - spirit interaction. If you are looking for a book that is simple, or one that is all theory, this isn't the right book. I certainly lays out for the reader how to go about intimate contact with spirits. I am not at all sure if this is the best thing for someone to do, but the information in the book certainly does cover the basics.Unfortunately, it contains alot of information that would be better understood by at least a neophyte student of magic, and there are lots of terms that are just soaking in after the third read. Also one of his techniques for contact really does require his other book - new millenium magic - in order to be used to its fullest. You will have to search out some information in some other places. I still don't understand alot about using spirit names with sigils, and about telesmatic images. It seems the author assumed most of his readers would know where to get some of this information - I haven't a clue.
But spirit contact is not too hard to initiate because he does outline some simple methods too.
The history of intimate spirit contact is extremely interesting, and eye opening. Not being sure that it's a good idea, I am still happy I have the book and learned what I did from it. I certainly couln't have learned it anywhere else.

Summary: You Must Be Kidding
Review: In some of the previous reviews I noticed that there is some confusion on what Donald Tyson ment by "Children of Lilith." He wasn't refering just to "demons", but to any sexual spirit including Gods and Goddess. In fact he pointed to Gnomes and Undines as some of the best "Children of Lilith", which aren't demons at all, their elementals. He even to pointed to angels and other types of spirits as "Children of Lilith" as well. Lilith here isn't used in the demonic sense, but as the sexual side of the Goddess.

Summary: Your One Stop Guide to Prayoga & Sexual Alchemy
Review: Sexual Alchemy contains eight wonderfully written chapters on a taboo subject. With over 300 pages Tyson's book contains everything form the Tantra to Paracelsus's Homunculus. Sexual Alchemy is dichotomized into two sections; part 1 The Theory (Spirit Sex in Magic & Religion, The Great Mother Goddess, Tantra and Tao, Sex in Western Alchemy, The Homunculus, Magical Uses for Sexual Fluids, Salt Sulfur & Mercury, God-making). Part 2 Practice (Choosing a Lover, The Image and the Shrine, Observations and Preparations, Breathing and Contemplation, Cleansing and Consecration, Methods of Protection, The Middle Pillar Exercise, Ritual of Invocation, The Physiology of Spirit Sex, Achieving Union, The Oil the White Powder & Red Powder). I personally really enjoyed Sexual Alchemy because of the massive amount of historical information in part 1 & then the second half shows the mental/physical training. I truly believe there is no better book on the subject of sexual magick. Tyson even goes so far as to help the beginner by giving the LBRP (Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram), which is a ritual used for protection from negative energies or forces. Also included are the Middle Pillar Exercise & a detailed chapter on invocation. What really surprised me is when I found a couple of pages on geomantic figures, telesmatic images, & a small section of the Rose Cross. In conclusion even if you are not an expert in the esoteric magick arena don't worry because Tyson will open your eyes to a world full of mystery & forbidden sciences. Even if you are not going to practice sexual magick it is a great for references & rich in theories.

Review: Sexual Alchemy is practiced in esoteric Christianity. Sexual magic is practiced in Zen Buddhism. Sexual magic is practiced amongst the Initiated Yogis. Sexual magic is practiced amongst the Mohammedan Sufis. Sexual magic was practiced in the Initiatic Colleges of Troy, Egypt, Rome, Carthage, Eleusis. Sexual magic was practiced by the mysterious Maya, Aztec, Inca, Druids, etc. However, there are two forms of sexual alchemy: black and white. The White Alchemist never wastes the sexual energy through the orgasm. The Black Alchemist always wastes the sexual energy through the orgasm. The White Alchemist seeks to redeem his soul from suffering by reducing the animalistic ego to dust. The Black Alchemist seeks to satisfy all his desires by strengthening his pride, lust, power, etc. The White Alchemist becomes an Angel. The Black Alchemist becomes a demon. Do not be deceived by this book: it is a teaching of Black Magic. For information on White Alchemy, the path to become free of suffering and pain, read the works of Samael Aun Weor, the Dalai Lamas, Krishna, etc.

Review: Someone once told me that even if all the secrets and books in the world were destroyed, folks would find some way of rediscovering them. Among some of these secret hidden documents is one that has not been seriously pursued before because of its potent and jealously guarded occult mystery-how to use the forces liberated by the union with spiritual beings for self-transformation. Tyson is going beyond Tantra here, but he discusses both Tantra and the Tao as background for the second part of the book, which gives the practical exercises. Donald Tyson writes broadly on the arcane arts, including "New Millennium Magic," "Three Books of Occult Philosophy," "Ritual Magic," and "Tetragrammaton." In this latest book, "Sexual Alchemy," he writes about a system of rituals magic that allows you to discover a sexual spiritual union far surpassing the pleasures of physical sex. He considers how to achieve a satisfying sexual and loving union with a spirit who is an active agent of the Goddess, the creative mother of the universe; various techniques for creating a homunculus (an artificial human); rituals to encourage the movement of your kundalini energy; and some explicit magical sexual practices, including the use of the Oil, the White Powder, and the Red Powder. Those of you who are familiar with the Golden Dawn rituals including the Middle Pillar exercise will find the practices easy, but don't worry if you haven't read them, for you will find Tyson's procedures extremely clear and straightforward. The ability to make sigils (signs that represent the spirit), to translate names, and to contact the spirits is laid out precisely. Of particular interest was the chapter in choosing a lover by working with telesmatic images building up the body shape, facial features, and overt personality traits for a spirit based solely on its name, or its function in the world. This is not to bypass the recognized historical form and attributes of a deity or other well-known spiritual being, however, major gods and goddesses have some drawbacks as love partners since they have such a long history and have been known by thousands of people over so many centuries they have acquired a kind of inertia tending to make them unresponsive on a personal level. So, a secondary or telesmatic image is more often desirable. Tyson has also included a history of erotic unions between humans and gods, angels, demons, and spirits.

Summary: Not for Dablers!!
Review: This book gives great information on how to and follow through. However, it is NOT for Dabblers! This information is only to be undertaken in the most protected magickal environments! Since you are calling up the children of Lilith, you are calling up Demons, dont cha know. Demons are base/lower beings and are volitile.These are not the demons of the Necronomicon who are some of the more civilized and honest and easy to work with in my personal experiences. Therefore, entering into sex with them gives them an invite, by you, into your deepest part, your soul. And upon doing this, the demon can begin to posess you. Either slowly and gradually over time, or in a deeply profound and shocking way as in Chaos Magik undertaken by those who are in mentally fragile or ungrounded states of mind. Bottom line...use caution, this is not a Milton & Bradley game. If your not a dabbler, and you've done the required protections, preferrably with help in the set up of these protections....have fun with your new lover!

Review: This book is an offense to any soul who seeks to free themselves of suffering. This book is unadulterated black magic, and seeks to seduce the naive by enticing our instinctive animal lust. True White Alchemy always seeks to purify the soul of all that is heavy and black; this book instead explains how we can degenerate ourselves. To see true White Alchemy, read the works of Samael Aun Weor. "The Mystery of the Golden Blossom" and "The Perfect Matrimony."
