Review: "A Primer for Beginning Psychotherapy" is a great first book for those contemplating entering the counseling field or new graduates. The author spends much of the book describing the basics like how often to have sessions, atmosphere, the kind of information that a new therapist would want to know. The chapter on transference is excellent and could not be recommended enough for a new therapist. The whole book is a compact source of good information.
