Review: (...) Its not a bad book, and it is fun to look at with your partner. The models are good looking and the pictures so so graphic, but it is mainly all the regular positions that a sex loving couples do on a regular basis. If you are looking for something new and crazy fun to do, pass it up. But if you are looking for a book to just keep you in tune, its not bad at all.

Review: First off, the book claims to have 101 positions. I was very disappointed to find that the bulk of them are repeats of the same thing with minor variations. The biggest turn off for me in this book was the lack of explanation of the positions and techniques. Almost all of them were one or two generalized sentences. There were many large pictures in the book which I also did not like. Having pictures is fine, but I would much rather have seen many small pictures with a simple explanation. Then if I spotted a technique I liked, there should have been an in depth explanation that followed.

Overall, they just tried to cram too much into this book so they could claim "101 positions". To be honest, I would have been much happier if they gave me 10 positions that they taught me how to use well.

Review: I ordered this book looking for 101 exciting positions to spice it up a bit, but ended up getting an instructional book on how to have sex... not exactly something I could give to my boyfriend for Christmas. I guess not all things should be bought online. If they had the "Look at the Pages" option, it might give buyers a better idea of what this book was really like. On the other hand, if you have no idea what you're doing, and want to carry out some research before you hop in bed, this bed is perfect. The glossy pictures were also very nice.

Review: I'd hoped that this book would be what the title claimed: 101 Exciting Positions. Well, it wasn't. I haven't gone and counted exactly how many positions there are (I'm guessing perhaps 50, tops) but some are rather mundane no-brainers (missionary, woman-on-top, doggie-style) and the majority of the rest are variations on those. Personally, I don't count moving a leg a few inches a new position! The pictures were interesting (my husband wondered how they got models for it and whether they wore paper pasties, like in Hollywood), but some were just ridiculous (the strip-tease section, for instance). I was hoping this book was more of an encyclopedia, showing and describing 101 positions to try. Instead, I got a colorful rehash of what we mostly already know.

Summary: Well written but not THAT good!
Review: The book was way to short! I'm still looking a book I saw on the shelf once and should have purchased, it had TONS of positions listed. On the other hand this book does have some pretty great ideas. It is well written, the pictures are clear and crisp and at the same time are more like erotic art than pornography. The book is tasteful but doesn't even mention topics like anal sex, it should have at least mentioned where to find more information about the topic. That in my opinion is a failing by the author.

But our main disappointment with the book is how few positions where presented and the pros and cons listed. Though I must say we did find the pros and cons list helpful and interesting. On the whole its not a bad book, but not the best in my opinion. I would not buy it again.

Review: While sex seems to be something amost natural that one should know instinctively, it is not. Granted, most of what the author explains, could be worked out by almost anybody. But then, why should I waste time and re-invent the wheel? This book shows you the short-cuts. You can get right into it without going through all the tedious exercises trying to find the tricks of the trade. True, the illustrations are not very graphic as previous reviewers noted. However, the experienced user will be able to imagine the missing pieces.
