Rating: Summary: the best book tai chi book I've ever read Review: An essential truism is that you cannot learn tai-chi from a book. It is hard enough to learn from a qualified instructor who can help you on a daily, physical basis. Thankfully, Mr. Lash, whose earlier book, Tai Chi Journey, I also enjoyed, makes no attempt to teach form with static pictures or elaborate drawings. Instead, he takes the philosophical underpinning of the practice, Lao Tzu's Tao Te Ching, and interprets it for the tai-chi player. This makes this the clearest, best and most important book on the art that I have ever read. I wish I had written it, and I recommend it to all my tai chi students.
