I always knew that there was more to her life than washing and ironing. This book is a wonderful guide to rich living. I recommend it to everyone. Her book offers instructions to all of us to work hard, persist, persevere, and not faint in the days of adversity.

Review: This small book provides a glimpse of a close-knit family, and deeply spiritual, simple living woman who made a big impact by saving her money as a private laundry/ironing worker in the deep south. Through saving, she was able to donate $150,000 to the University of Mississippi for scholarships. Aged black and white family snapshots enhance the text. As a spiritual inspiration, this first-person, real-life, no-nonsense account of living a Godly life is much more inspiring than all the esoteric reads flooding the market today.
