Rating: Summary: Looking Back Review: After reading this book of Dr.Jordan, I have ordered a few for friends who have repeatedly made mistakes in their relationships that have made them unsuccessful in finding their Soulmate. Hopefully this book will give them the tools to revaluate their past mistakes and set new goals for the future. It is well written and clearly takes the reader through the process.
Rating: Summary: It's About Time! Review: Finally a book about finding your soulmate that is straight-forward and intuitive. After reading this book, I felt confident in what I was looking for in a soulmate. Aggie's plan is real, it's common sense really...I was soon introduced to a terrific man that I fell in love with, and in a short time found that our goals were the same...to be married! And, I am happy to say that we are engaged! This book was a great source of encouragment, honesty, and self-confidence. Thank you!
Rating: Summary: Fair Review: I was disappointed in the book. It does contain good information on setting your goal of marriage and developing the profile of the man you want to be with, but these topics have been covered as well in magazine articles and other books I've seen. There was a lot of concentration on a few couples' experiences and I found the men from those couples to be atypical to those I date (more new-agey than men I know or would want to know). I also was taken aback by the author seeming to go out of her way to mention that her subject couples "married within their race". I think if I'd browsed this book in a store I'd have left it there.

Rating: Summary: Practical Review: The book is short and to the point. In reading it, I realized that being honest and being able to communicate feelings up front will tell you alot about who you are dating. I personally think that marrying someone you know less than a year is not wise, but I do think that letting your potential mate know that you want to get married and you want to set a date is the way to go. It has given me the confidence to be bolder than I would tend to be.

Rating: Summary: Even engaged and married couples can read this book Review: This book was profoundly interesting to me, not because it is guide to finding a soulmate (I am happily married) but because it is a description of what a healthy relationship ought to be. It raised many pertinent questions, and by mentally answering them I gained a clearer picture of where I am in my marriage, and where I would like to be. The book will even tell you how to get there. I gave a copy to a friend who is marrying her soulmate in less than a year. She said it helped to open up a dialogue between her and her fiance about issues they had never discussed or even thought of. Very readable.
