Review: I hoped this book would help me cope with my long distance relationship with a military cadet. The book is worthless. It is nothing but the author's sob story. There are no ideas, hints, or tips, just a story about someone else's relationship. I don't need to hear what it's like to be in a long distance relationship, I bought the book because I already know.

If you haven't bought the book yet, don't bother. You could get better advice from the six year old down the block than from this book.

Review: I was very hesitant about purchasing this book from Amazon.com because of the bad book reviews it has received. I decided to go ahead and purchase it and read it for myself to see what it had to offer, if anything at all. I would have to say that I am impressed with this book, and unimpressed with the bad reviews that it has received. This book may not have a lot to offer in expertise, but that is because it isn't written by an expert. Instead, it is written by a man who has experienced long distance relationships himself. This book is his story, his opinion, and his suggestions. He has done and tried some things that I would never even consider, but then that is my opinion. I found that he has some very good suggestions, that even I am willing to try. All said and done, this book is a story about how one man gets through his long distance relationship with his girlfriend and his ideas for others. I found this to be a great book, for what it is. Remember, it wasn't written by an expert, but rather by someone like you and me!

Review: I would have to say that I am plesently surprised with the book.. no it doesn't really give any solutions to what you may face in a long distance relationship, but it is easy to read and in those times when you are down or depressed from being away from your love it will give a little perspective on where it is you do stand in your relationship.. any and everyone in a long distance relationship could have written this book, and that is why it works.. we have all been through it but it lets us know.. we aren't alone.
