Summary: Great overview of family therapy - with weak editing
Review: Griffin and Green do a nice job condensing down the essential concepts of the following family therapy models: Structural, Strategic, Behavioral, Psychoeducational, MRI, Object Relations, Bowenian and Experiential. Each theoretical model is presented in an overview format that highlights key terms and techniques, basic tenets, and variations of the model. In addition, the authors have provided a comprehensive self-test at the end of the book for the reader to assess their learning. Unfortunately, in the model comparison section, on page 124, the editor did not catch that the Bowenian key terms are listed under the Object Relations section, and that the Object Relation key terms are completely omitted. This error made me question the accuracy of the entire model comparison section. ...
