Review: I was diagnosed with thryoid cancer 3 years ago. I wish I'd had this book then! Rosenthal explains everything so clearly! I feel so empowered with this book. It covers everything you need to know about your cancer and especially all about follow-up scans. I found this chapter the most useful for me because it's a very confusing subject. This book answered all my questions and concerns about withdrawl scanning. Everyone with thryoid cancer should have this book. I have her other thyroid books, and they're all really well-written and informative, but if you have thyroid cancer, you need this book especially.

Summary: A Patient's Best Friend
Review: My doctor recommended this book to me when I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer recently. It's been a godsend! It explained things to me in terms that are easy to read and understand. I really appreciated that it was written by someone who's also been through thyroid cancer. I felt like a friend was helping me through the process of my treatment. I also really trust the information in it because the medical advisor for this book, Dr. Ain, is a name I recognize, who gives out amazing advice on the thyroid cancer Yahoo listserve.
