Summary: Great Introduction to the 8 CACREP Standards
Review: I am currently preparing to take the National Counselor Exam. Since several years had passed after completing my counselor training, I decided I needed to brush up on a good introduction to the field of counseling. THE WORLD OF THE COUNSELOR was an excellent choice. It covers all areas which will be included on the exam. It is written in a very easy to read style. If you are limited on the amount of time you have to study for the NCE, this book is a good choice. I feel more confident in my level of knowledge after reading this book.I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is preparing to take the NCE.
