Review: What I especially enjoyed about this book was its practical simplicity. Steve and Cathy Brody keep it simple as they provide illustrations of the many problems we all face as we hit mid-life. They also often use themselves as examples. Like all of us, they too screw-up and don't know all the answers. And this is what makes their book so refreshing. We don't have the learned guru telling us how we should handle our mid-life problems. Rather we have regular, thoughtful people saying to us, "Hey, this is how we do it, or how others we've counselled have done it. So maybe this will help you?" I highly recommend this book. Like my wife and I, I know the reader will often go to its pages for a useful tip on how to deal with a particular difficulty.
