Summary: One of the best excercise books I have seen.
Review: As a physician, I recommend this book to all my patients who are concerned about osteoporosis. It is written by a physical therapist who has chosen specific exercises that can strengthen bones. The book is beautifully illustrated and very simple to follow. I advise any patient who wants to begin exercising to start with this book. I wish there were more books available that were as concise and helpful to one's overall health.

As a physician working with patients at risk for osteoporosis, I have found the book to be a great educational tool. The exercises are easy to perform thanks to its concisely written and well-illustrated format.

In addition to a complete exercise program, Ms. Bissinger has included a section on posture and body mechanics. This section is an important complement to any exercise regimen. The way one lives their daily life is crucial in preventing back and spinal injuries.
