Summary: VERY USEFUL INFORMATION- I LOVED IT!!!!!!!1
Review: As a man, I don't usually read these types of books, but my girlfriend said i wasn't romantic enough so she bought me this book and several others. I'm glad she did. this book doesn't contain any brain busting ideas, but it does have many good, fun, romantic, seductive and creative suggestions that I found very helpful. We live in a big city and have never really took the tims to explore it. As this book suggested, we took a limo around our city, had dinner sitting on the grass in a park, stopped at several shops and made love in the back seat. It was so much fun that I still think of it often. This book isn't going to make or break my relationship, but i found lots of things in it that i am definately going to use.

Summary: Great book...
Review: Great book... if you are 12 and smoke crack. Seriously, who in their right mind would write this ****?

Summary: Boring!
Review: I agree with several of the comments below. I noted several times in the book where the authors would repeat the same date (in slightly different words) over and over again. At least they might cause people to say "hey, I can come up with better dates than what is in this book." I've found a good source for fun dates to be The RoMANtic's Guide and Creative Dating. You will get your money's worth with those. This book is a waste of your money.

Summary: Oh please...
Review: I bought this book "a couple of relationships ago" and unearthed it recently. My guy and I are having more fun going through the book, seeing what we've already done, and getting ideas for future dates (e.g., he's going to teach me how to fence ...). The ideas range from the free-of-charge to the grandiose, so there's something for everyone. We have recommended this little volume to numerous friends.

Summary: Great ideas that are fun, romantic and unique.
Review: I just finished reading this book and I really liked it. The book contains many tips on what to do on dates. My boyfriend and I sometimes get bored and can't think of anything fun or creative, this book offers more tips than we will ever use. My favoite is renting mopeds and seeing the town, I also liked the romantic and exotic tips, some of which we've already done and others which we can't wait to do. I recommend this book for anyone who wan'ts useful tips to use when going on a date.

Summary: Quite interesting and enjoyable
Review: I just finished reading this book and I was really impressed. I enjoyed it. I thought all the ideas were great, some were very common, yet they served as a reminder of what to do on dates. Yes, some were silly, but overall the book contained fun, sexy and romantic ideas for couples.

Summary: In Agreement
Review: I would definitely agree with those who wrote that this book appeared to be put together after an all-night brainstorming session. I wouldn't consider "pray together" to be a date.

I think for a date you should read this book with your date and laugh at most of the stupid ideas.

If you are looking for creative and fun date ideas I'd highly recommend going to 300creativedates. com and check out the material there. I loved the ideas.

Summary: HaHaHaHa!!!! David Cross I love you!!!!!!!!
Review: so i bought this after watching David "Mr.Show" Cross' comedy special on hbo, and his rant that made fun of this insepid book. "so yeah, i picked up this book 2002 things to do on a date. its for people, you know, who don't know how to date. because sometimes you forget to open your eyes, dress yourself, or speak english".
so how bad is it? you should get it and judge for youself. such things as "pray together". that's a great ice breaker on a first date. "watch mtv and play along with a kazoo", or "have a picnic under the stars and watch for halley's comet". because after all, it only comes around every 76 years.

yeah so this book was made for the socially inept and boring. don't take it seriously at all. i'd be amazed if people actually did.

Summary: Hi honey, wanna go throwing coins in a wishing well with me?
Review: Sure, if you are getting as large an amount as 2002 dating tips in one book, you can't expect them all to be gems. But if everything is rubbish, you have a right to say that the authors have done a lousy job.

Here are a few random examples of the fabulous creations of Ms. Haynes's and Mr. Edwrads's geniality:

Flirt only with each other. Whisper sweet nothings. Form a romantic poetry society. Sing Auld Lang Syne at midnight. Sit side by side on a park bench and watch the world go by. Teeter-totter an evening away. Take a taxi around your city to see the sights. Restore an antique car together. Discuss current events. Cure each other of the hiccups.

After browsing this truly amazing "book", I spent two minutes looking around in my room and lo - a dozen super hot dating tips popped into my head: look out of the window together, scratch your noses together, play a computer game together, try to break a pencil in two together, clean up your room together, clean up her room together etc etc.

Wow! I could become a best selling author, too. But why stop with "2002 Things to Do on a Date"? Why not write a dating tips series of, say, ten volumes? That would be a great starting point to move on - to "2002 Things to Do on a Business Lunch", for instance. Discuss what you like about your dish. Discuss what you dislike about your dish. Measure which one of you has a longer middle finger. Try to count each others' hair. Ha! I kill me!

To sum up: If you find ten useful tips in this book, you are very lucky
