Rating: Summary: I used this book over the last ten years to tone and shape. Review: This book has been the primary source of maintaining my youthful appearance. This book has helped me to keep track on weight maintenance. The relaxing stretches also help me to manage stress. When I purchased this book over ten years ago, I was looking for an alternative to the aerobic exercise mania that seemed to be sweeping the country. I hated aerobic exercise. Everything about my personality and my need to be slow and deliberate repelled this approach to my physical fitness. Also I did not have the time or even desire for that matter to regularly attend anyones class. I found that by setting myself up on a disciplined schedule and applying this slow gentle technique of exercise, I was able to accomplish everything that I wanted to do with my physique.
Rating: Summary: very good Review: This book is a good purchase if you are not concerned with specific pain. It is well done, and teaches exactly what it says in its title. The photographs are very helpful and I would recommend this book to people who are interested in a yoga program, but not to people who have acute specific pain.
