Review: While this book was full of interesting stats, it gave me little information that was helpful. As a very large woman who has been this way all her life, it is good to see that someone is talking about sex and the fat person, but, unless you are a novice to the world of sex, this just did not serve as a good sourcebook. The things that were covered were very elementary - anyone who is big knows that you can't crush or suffocate your lover unintentionally - why spend so much time talking about it? Anyone who is fat knows what the rumours and snide remarks are, just as we all know they are not true. No need to spend time discussing them.
While I applaud that the book covered non-traditional sex, and while I have enjoyed experimenting in these non-traditional areas, the majority of the women buying this book are, I believe, heterosexual and traditional. This book did not spend much time at all discussing plain old, everyday, sex.
