Summary: Inspirational, Motivational and Best of All, Useful
Review: Like most people, I struggle to stay motivated to exercise consistently. I have two daughters and a full-time job and exercise often gets relegated to the end of my to-do lists.

But this book really made a difference for me. It motivated me from the inside-out, rather than the outside-in (like many pep-talk fitness books).

Once motivated, I needed practical, simple advice I could follow and strategies that would produce real results -- or else I knew I would lose my motivation again. This book is filled with simple, new, results-oriented strategies: I've lost five pounds in the first two weeks since reading this book. More than that, however, I feel like a totally different person because I am "exercising smart, not hard" (as the author says) and having fun with it.

The Portable Personal Trainer is a fantastic book that will make an immediate and lasting impact on your fitness and quality of life.

Summary: From a size 12 to a 7 in 10 weeks!!!
Review: This book demystifies many weight loss, nutrition and exercise issues in a clear, friendly, expert way. It helps to answer why we're getting fatter in America. I read this wonderful book in eight hours--but don't let that fool you; it's packed with good information and moving inspiration. Every word matters. When I started showing results, my friends and family wanted to know the secret. At least 3 of them bought the book for themselves. Eric Harr's advice and motivation really works. Big! How do I know? Because I'm significantly SMALLER! Yahoo!!! :)

Summary: The Truth Can Change Your Life. It Did Mine.
Review: This book tells the truths of health and fitness in a very articulate and motivating way. I lost 26 pounds and 3 dress sizes in a little over 9 weeks. The concepts that Eric Harr presents in this simple manual WORK. They work because they are logical, they are based in science and they relate to everyday life -- no matter what your age, fitness background or sports orientation. Read this fantastic book and the results will speak for themselves. It will change much more than your waistline too. You will feel like a healthier, happier, more "together" human being. That is what happened to me.
