Rating: Summary: Good for Teens Review: I felt there were too many questions that were simply irrelevant. There needed to be more questions that really got to the heart and core of relationships like finance, religion and philosophy of life.I'd highly recommend 1000 Questions for Couples instead which I thought covered all the bases very well.
Rating: Summary: I thought I knew almost everything about my husband until... Review: If asked, I would've said I knew pretty much everything about my husband from his past experiences to his future hopes and dreams but "365 Questions for Couples" has proved that wrong! This book of 365 questions has facilitated new discoveries and lots of great conversations. I highly recommend it if you're trying to get to know someone better or if you thought you knew it all!
Rating: Summary: Good for Teens Review: THIS LITTLE BOOK [BORDA'S KEEPS IT IN THEIR SMALL BOOK SECTION] IS A TREAT TO READ. THE AUTHORS DEAL WITH SERIOUS, EMOTION-LADEN SUBJECTS IN A WAY THAT MAKES IT PLEASANT TO READ.THIS PAPERBACK PROVOKES THOUGHT IN A WAY THAT TAKES DOWN WALLS IN THOSE WHO RESIST LOOKING INWARDLY. I HAVE A FRIEND [A WISE OLD LAWYER] WHO ONCE TOLD ME THAT HAVING THE RIGHT QUESTION IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN HAVING THE RIGHT ANSWER. THIS BOOK DEMONSTRATES THAT AS IT GENTLY THROWS OUT THESE REMARKABLE QUESTIONS. THE TV PERSONALITY, BARBARA WALTERS, IS THE MOST HIGHLY SKILLED [AND HIGHLY PAID] INTERVIEWER IN THE WORLD. OBSERVE HER AND YOU WILL REALIZE THAT SHE ENABLES HER GUESTS TO OPEN-UP BY ASKING ONLY A FEW [BUT VERY GOOD] QUESTIONS. THE HALLMARK OF A GOOD INTERVIEWER, THERAPIST,LAWYER OR BOOK IS BEING ABLE TO ASK THE PROPER QUESTIONS. "365 QUESTIONS FOR COUPLES" ASKS THOSE GREAT QUESTIONS AND IT DOES SO IN A WAY THAT IS PLEASANT AND NOT ARDUOUS, UNLIKE MANY OTHER BOOKS OF ITS' KIND.IF THIS BOOK IS FLAWED IN ANY WAY, IT IS ONLY IN BEING SHORT AND LIMITED. IT IS ONE OF THOSE BOOKS THAT YOU ARE SORRY TO SEE END.
Rating: Summary: a dud Review: This would probably appeal to teens beginning new relationships. Reminded me of the teen magazine survey ( i.e. who is your favorite rock star?, What flavor ice cream do you like?)
