Summary: Six Pack Schmix Pack, Make Yourself a Solid Case
Review: As a dancer, I've had plenty of experience with back injuries and abdominal strengthening exercises, but never have the muscles, their functions, and related exercises been so clearly described as in this book. I was immediately able to apply exercises that I hadn't even heard of before to start strengthening core muscles that I had always assumed--incorrectly--were in great shape. I could use a "Little Book of..." for all of the muscle groups in my body.

Summary: Tone your abs, strengthen your core, feel strong
Review: I used to have constant pain in my hip and back. After 4 weeks of strength/ab training that pain is gone. Nothing else, not yoga, not stretching, nothing was working, but this did.

The excercises, intstructions and visuals in this book are great. There are straightforward explanations of how muscle groups work and why strengthening each is important.

The book features five different workouts, increasing in difficulty, all focussed on strengthening the core (torso, back, stomach, hips) and toning the abs. The excercises are really fun and easy to follow. No more boring crunches!

Summary: This ABS book is fantastic!!
Review: No ubelievable claims, no stupid equipment, just factual, well-written advice on how to strengthen and tone your abs. This book is great. I just had a baby and I'm getting back in shape and I can already see the results thanks to the exercises in this book. The abs are more complicated than you think, but this book makes it easy to work the various muscle groups. The book itself is a very easy read, good diagrams and instructions, not overwhelming like lots of other books on working out. Just like that Little Yoga book which I also love, this Little Abs book is a MUST HAVE and a great stocking stuffer, and now I realize a PERFECT baby shower gift for your girlfriends who like to be in shape!
