Summary: Similar to Yoga but relaxed philosophy,good for rehab.
Review: Excellent explanations of Chinese meridians, and methods of using/obtaining Ki. Many postures are similar to Yoga postures but allow for modifications, such as bending the back on forward bends rather than keeping it straight.

In rehabing a torn medial collateral ligament, the 'Spleen and Stomach' exercise, and the alternate one for knees that won't bend back 'Knee Lift' were excellent. Using the books 'relax into it' philosophy, I used a lot of props (pillows, blankets) at first. Within a week the knee made amazing progress in mobility.

Have also used the exercises for bronchitis and to improve balance. Well written and easy to follow pictures.
