Review: I found this book at the perfect time. I needed help to get over divorce after a twenty-year marriage to an abusive Vietnam veteran. It helped me realize that I had a lot of work to do on myself, if I wanted to ever achieve a healthy relationship. It helped me be strong enough to say no, when my ex called and wanted to get back together. I am now in a loving, sane marriage and I give Norwood and the letters from other women who love too much, credit for helping me regain sanity and to teach me about the deadly consequences of relationship addiction. I can never thank these women enough. If you are in a problem relationship, you must read this book. It is outstanding. Norwood pulls no punches; yet her compassion shines through. Excellent!!
