Rating: Summary: Common sense and easy to understand. Review: I was very impressed with this book. It was easy to read and easy to understand, but the best part aboout it was how much sense it made. It all seemed so basic why didn't anybody think of it before? I highly recomend this book for anybody who does not have complete control of their eating.
Rating: Summary: Great Piece of Work Review: Sound nutritional advice written in a novel format...so reading it is effortless. I have read numerous books on nutrition/diet and this one is amoung the best. I am a certified personal trainer and found this book to be incredibly easy to read; a common sense approach to lifestyle changes that's very motivating without any of the techno babble that tends to turn readers off. Rating: Summary: Makes Sense! Review: The world of nutrition is full of half-trues and misinformation. Stephen Moss is able to cut through all the confusion to bring a straightforward and honest approach to living a healthy lifestyle. Being in the health and fitness industry the public is searching for the magic pill or fad diet that will make all the pounds melt away. As Mr. Moss states, "Permanent weightloss is as much a function of the mind and heart, of courage and commonsense, as it is what we eat." I high recommend this book as a voice of reason in this world filled with quick fixes and outrageous diets. Paul Stofko BS, CSCS

I highly recommend "Lose Weight with The Power of One" to anyone who has spent many years trying to lose wight on many different fad diets. With this approach you don't try, you do!
Rating: Summary: Must Read To Change Your Life Review: This is a great book on controlling one's weight and health and it's in the form of a novel with dialogue and a variety of choices that can be applied to different people in different situations. It's a welcomed and needed remedy away from the constant "fad" money-making weight/diet/nutrition programs that we've been bombarded with over the last few years. Not only will "The Power of One" help you lose the weight you've always wanted to lose, but it'll help you take back control of your life.
