The tone of it is as if we were children. I would like a more frank discussion since most of us have been corrupted by frivolous sexual relationships and are now ready for a change. If you don't mind wading through the pollyanna material then it is well worth the time. I really was inspired by some of his Biblical analysis on dating (courting) and marriage. He has thought through this well. And his counsel is wise. If I were to re-write this book, the only change I would make is to spend the first few chapters assessing how we all have [messed] up our youth through sex and dating for superficial reasons. This would show that the author relates to the sinful portion of our dating lives. The timelines for dating are guidelines as he says, and are worthwhile. Again, the last two or three chapters are worth the read. It is a great effort and noble to tackle this huge issue for most of us. I am sure the author will put out future books refining his style. God bless
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Excellent book. Review: This was the best book on this subject that I have read to date. I have also read "When God writes your love story" but found the concepts in Dr.Raunikar's book to be more concrete. For people who want more than an abstract idea...this is the book for you! I personally enjoyed the Biblical references that both books supply. I enjoyed the charts and testimonies and have incorporated them into my life in a very significant way. I can truly credit this book for helping me understand the difference between dating and courtship as well as the difference between a "good choice" and a "God choice".
Some people had an issue with the fact that relationships with unbelievers is discouraged, but we should certainly remeber that this is by no means JUST the view of Dr.Raunikar. This IS Biblical! If we are to live circumspectly and to choose God's best, we must incorporate His principles....
