Summary: This book is Amazing
Review: I have read and re-read this book many times. My dog eared copy is the only book I have in my medicine bag. I started the book when it first came out and I couldn't put it down. I am now looking at doing a workshop around it. It is the greatest tool for bringing families together to do something meaningful and cool. Image what your child will remember (or re-remember) about His/Her childhood when you do a ceremony with them.
There are certain things about the past that need to be re-remembered and this book just puts it beautifully. Thank you Steven for taking the time and the energy to write this book. Can't wait for the next one!

Review: I like this book because it encourages you to get off your [duff], out of your head and into a sacred space, no matter what level of experience you have. It is not a cookbook for making ceremonies, nor is it a philosophical treatise on Ceremony or the Sacred. It is a well written, easy-to-follow guide that mixes in some good stories and general guidelines for several common types of ceremony. It's a great book to get you started thinking in terms of practical daily spirituality and self-created ceremony.

The grace is that everyone can find an abundance of useful ideas and practices for themselves and others in these celebrations of the sacred. Use it as a foundation and then improvise for all the sacred ceremonies that living and dying has to offer. Steven invites you into his journey of sacred space so that you might learn how to more fully enter your own with others. This book is a gift and blessing.
