Rating: Summary: An educators perspective Review: From the perspective of an educator who deals with students who range from young adult to fify somethings in a community college setting I found this an invaluable resource. I feel the work is of immese value as it always requires that you evaluate your current perspective and superimpose it upon those your are dealing with. If one can read through this text without repositioning their own parameters it would amazing. It would be of particular value for anyone trying to determine their place in the overall scheme of things. The sixties manta, "the family of man on the spaceship earth," could aptly be used to subtitle this work.

Rating: Summary: Wonderful Book Review: I had to read this book for a class, otherwise I more than likely would never had chosen it. I was extremely pleased and found that I had experienced all of the archetype stages in my life. My fellow classmates were equally pleased. One student in particular even had the Chinese symbol for Warrior, tatood on his bicep.

Rating: Summary: Improves upon Expanded Edition Review: This version of the Hero Within greatly expands upon the 1989 edition and is contemporized for the late 1990's. Carol Pearson's books are good guides to discovering more about yourself and the archetypes that influence your behavior. The best place to start if you are exploring heroic archetypes in your search for an authentic life.
