Rating: Summary: VERY READER FRIENDLY Review: This book manages the sensitive balance between offering high quality information in a very reader-friendly format with apparent ease. Health care professionals will find the book's quick reference format tremendously useful. Families in the midst of an often overwhelming experience will find the information understandable, reassuring and pertinent. Drs. Indman and Bennett offer time-tested suggestions on options for care of new mothers, with practical advice gleaned from years of working in the field of perinatal mental health. This book is a "must read" for anyone seeking to understand the standard of care for new mothers working through postpartum depression. Sharon Storton

Rating: Summary: Thank GOODNESS for this book. Review: This is a must read for any woman who is about to give birth. The percentage of women who suffer from some sort of "baby blues" is high so this book is a great tool for the new mom, family and friends to help understand the issues that the new mom may be going through. I only wish I had this book five years ago when my first child was born. I thought something was very wrong with me...this book would have saved me!
Rating: Summary: Excellent Resource Review: This is an excellent resource for new mothers, their families and healthcare providers. It is user-friendly and provides reliable and helpful information. As a psychologist in private practice, I always recommend the book to the postpartum women and healthcare providers I work with.
