Rating: Summary: Oh My! Review: An intimate book written by David - as if he was writing to me personally. He touched my heart and showed me - what my heart already knew. It's a bedside favourite for me - and I often just choose a chapter - I feel like I fall into it - it feeds me so. Thank You David, so much. I know my heart needed to hear these words just as much as the next beautiful womans' heart.

Rating: Summary: Becoming Love¿ Review: David Deida inspires the sensuous and promotes the sacred. Through his lyrical style, he presents the full force of masculine love while embracing the goddess. He understands the yearnings of the female heart. "Dear Lover" is a combination of male and female fantasy within letters and explanations. David Deida presents the secret desires of a man in the form of letters to "his lover." In this case, that would be you while you are reading the book. Each chapter begins with a letter and then moves into a delicious depth of words showing how our human hearts want to be open to God and the flow of divine energy. In this book, I finally understood the phrase: "Open to God." It seems to be an experience you live. It is not just a moment in time, but more a way of living. To me, it resembles unconditional love. That love God gives us and wants us to accept and give freely. David Deida takes this love to new and often unexplored levels. While most relationship experts focus on what you should "do," Deida focuses on how you should "feel." Through some of the most beautiful writing I've ever read, he explains how we want to give and receive love fully. It is our hearts true desire to find a man who is spiritually sexy. These are not just letters from a man who is communicating with his deepest being, they are letters that give insight into the nature of a man. What are his true desires, loves, pleasures? Through these letters women will become interested in reading further into each chapter and finding out why men are attracted or repelled by various ways women react. Even crying can be sexy in the right situation. Deida shows tremendous insight into the heart of the goddess. He doesn't see a woman who enjoys sex as a slut. He sees her as an awakened goddess. Then he explores how a woman can become this goddess of desire. What captures a man's attention? How can a woman experience a deeper sexual experience? Can she experience the boundless ocean of love her heart surges towards in unending cycles? Can she become this ocean? Can she become love itself? Can she love even when she has become a storm of emotions or has withdrawn into the depths of her nature, wounded and disappointed? The author has the unique gift of describing how women feel. He is not just listening, he is fully experiencing the feminine essence on a deep level while still retaining all the desires of the masculine essence. What will your reactions be while reading this book? "You know how I feel!" "You are aware of me as a female being." "You care." "You are unafraid of experiencing my every nuance." "Oh, that is why men think this way and why I have been getting that particular response." Through this book you will understand why men watch sports to the point of obsession, why they need us to trust them and how they enjoy being with a woman who is radiant and filled with love's energy. You will also understand why some men cannot love fully until they have found their life's purpose. The author does present relationships in a more casual way. He doesn't focus on the deep commitment between people who are not moving in the same direction. He encourages a deep commitment between "Third Stage" individuals. He questions the ability for the goddess to be happy with a man who cannot fulfill her completely. He wants women to live in a more meaningful way and to have the courage to find the man who is a "Third Stage" man. He encourages women to become a "Third Stage" woman. Men might enjoy reading this book for the secrets it contains. Women will want to read this book to know themselves more intimately through the heart of a man who understands woman's deepest longings.
Rating: Summary: What a Guide!!!! Review: I have longed for this book for years. When would someone write a book specifically for women on how to be, open, shine and dance through life, relationships, and work blissfully, relaxed and open-hearted? David Deida's 'Dear Lover' is such a book and I continue to dip in to it over and over and over again.... His words inspire me, energize me, and press deeply into me. This book connected me to my deepest yearnings and guided me to share my gifts of light and love to the world.
