Rating: Summary: Very nice Review: All I can say is just buy it!!! A deeply yet simply written book that touches the very soul of who we are... Meister Ekhert once wrote "The soul grows by subtraction, not by addition". In just a few lines the author has captured what it means to truly be happy and that is to realize freedom within.
Rating: Summary: A small, but valuable gem Review: I am one of the lucky ones to own a hand-made version, but the power and gift remain tucked between the covers. I keep this book handy on the window ledge and often revisit its lovely and honest positive reflections, reminders and validations. A wonderful gift to yourself first and then to others. Thank you Kim and Alison.

Rating: Summary: Very nice Review: I originally bought this book as a gift for my sister, but read it myself before I gave it to her. It's wonderful and enlightening. It just makes you realize that when you love yourself more, life is more enjoyable.
Rating: Summary: Thank you, Kim. Review: I was in Paris, in an English bookshop, looking for psychology books, and I came acorss this book, it caught my eye immediately. It's another print by a publisher from London. It's very lovely, the look. I read it and alomost immediately, I was touched and tears came to my eyes. I was reminded that I need to love myself enough, because I am the only person who truly understand all of my needs and my pains, and I am responsible for myself. I thought it was truly a gift from Kim McMillen to the world, she was so kind in sharing her wisdom and life. Thank you, Kim. I will, too, try to love myself.
Rating: Summary: Nice but..... Review: One sided pages with scrawled words, usually a simple sentence. This book has some very nice sentiments, but seems destined to collect dust. I gave 3 as Christmas presents and wrote a suggestion to each person to use this as a catalyst to write on the blank sided pages your own expressions of how you show yourself "self-care". Perhaps as a catalyst for journalling it would be more than just a nice idea but useful for self-discovery.
Rating: Summary: It Brought Tears To My Eyes Review: This book is so thoughful and inspirational and brings with it a very personal touch. It is great to keep a copy next to your bed to remind you of the importance of taking the time to love yourself. Wonderful gift idea! I'm not one to collect self-help/inspiration books, but I can not stress enough, that this book is a must have!
