Review: Dr. Huggins takes us on a eye opening tour of mercury toxicity at its worst and how are lives can be changed if we are willing to heed his advice. After competing in a marathon I noticed that I had absolutely no desire to exercise. Having been an athlete all my life this was a little scary. When I started taking 5 naps a day and would forget simple things like meals, I knew I had a problem. My homeopath had "It's All In Your Head" and suggested I read it. I was amazed at the coverup the ADA has managed to get away with all these years. Luckily for us Doc Huggins has dedicated his life to getting the word out about the dangers of mercury toxicity. After reading this book you should check out his website Hugnet. com and learn more about dental revision. I had mine done a year ago at his clinic in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and feel great. I now nap when I want to, not because I have to, have no more brain fog, and am starting to slowly get back into an exercise program. So, read the book, research the website, and get those amalgams removed and replaced by a material compatible with 'your' body and get on with your life.

Summary: This book is a must before you get your amalgams removed!
Review: Hal Huggins has certainly done his homework on the mercury toxicity issue, and is very thorough in his discussion of the recommended procedures for amalgam removal. He covers the nutritional and disease aspects of how mercury affects the body, and also touches on the political aspects of this issue, the ADA's stance on mercury, and why their view is flawed. He discusses individual cases to show how removal of amalgams has resulted in improvement in those with "incurable" diseases. Anyone who is curious about the possibility that their dental fillings are the cause of their health woes needs to investigate further, and the most prudent will get rid of all mercury fillings. Hal Huggins has done the public a great service by exposing what the American Dental Association has hidden from us, and it is obvious that his sole purpose is to protect the public, regardless of the personal cost to him, and offers assistance in finding the appropriate dental care providers in your area.

Review: Having read several of Hal Huggins books it strikes me how reader friendly they are. He has a deep understanding of people who are struggling with health problems. Reading and believing what Dr. Huggins wrote in this book led me to recover from 50 years of manifestations of ill health. The journey was not quick, easy or cheap but this book was part of it.

Summary: Opened My Eyes, Changed My Life
Review: I can't say enough about what this book has done for me. In a thought, it convinced me and my business partner to have our silver (mercury-based) fillings removed and this changed the quality of both of our lives immediately and more dramatically than I could have imagined. The book is well-written, thorough, fast-paced and easy to read. This book is a must for anyone who has silver fillings.

Summary: Extremely informative & easy to understand information
Review: I disagree w/ the review that states alternatives are not clearly given. If one's immune system is compromised by mercury poisoning, other materials may be just as bad. HOWEVER, Dr. Huggins does provide alternatives by performing a biocompatibility test to ensure the dental alternative does not harm the dental patient further. Plus he studies the patient's genetic type diet, counsels using cleation therapy & supplements to help boost one's immune system while detoxing the body of mercury. Fascinating information down to the celluar level, presented on a level that a layperson can understand. This book has been helpful in trying to identify a dentist who performs the amalgam removal w/ caution, & w/ the interests of the patient foremost. (I'm still looking for a dentist).

Summary: Information that EVERYONE should read!
Review: I had heard of this book, and was as skeptical as anyone would be, when it comes to such worldwide impact. While hearing of the book and concepts, I was also witnessing the success first hand. I immediately purchased a copy for myself here, and have been monopolized by its contents! It is something you will want to read, and then get your closest family to read, and then have them spread the word. There is something here, and Huggins has found it.

Summary: Great research but lacks an alternative
Review: Mercury in any form is a poison. That truth is learned by many individuals at an early age. What isn't readily available information however, is the fact that mercury is used in ALL metal dental fillings (incorrectly referred to as "silver fillings"). Why the American Dental Association (ADA) wants the public to think mercury is magically rendered harmless when placed in dental fillings (in the mouth) is a very thought provoking question, not to mention, scary... This book addresses mercury fillings in the mouth along with a few other really great tidbits you'll be glad you learned about... Don't forget to also read "Uninformed Consent", Dr. Huggins latest 1999 book release. Fortunately, I met Dr. Huggins back in 1983 when I had no idea what was wrong with me and I was sleeping 15 hours a day and each day I felt like I had just pulled an all-nighter at college...The medical folks told me I was either pregnant or I needed a shrink. Luckily for me they were wrong on both counts... All I needed was to have the mercury removed (correctly) from my mouth and subsequently from my body. (Body detoxification lasts for the rest of your life). Thank you again Dr. Huggins!

Review: This book was essential in my understanding of why I needed to remove all mercury from my mouth. It is the classic. I want to add that Hal Huggins' book on MS is an excellent complement because it is based on newer information Huggins has amassed, and describes the healing process very well. By writing about MS I am concerned that the rest of us who need to understand how to heal from mercury won't buy it. I highly recommend reading both books to fully grasp why and how.
