Summary: Surrendered Singles rock!!
Review: Hi. I just celebrated 5 months with my boyfriend last week. =o)So many people have asked me lately how I have found this Love. I thought it was time I came to thank the author Laura Doyle, for helping me discover Intimacy & True Romance in my life.I've been living a life focused on Career and Success. And I've been lucky and blessed in all the accomplishments so far. It's just that I never believed in True Love nor True Romance. I didn't believe it existed, I didn't believe I could have it. I was scared. I didn't know what to do and how to do it. And that was me, after all the numerous dates and short lived relationships I've had. Well. I waited to see how far this book would take me on my journey to discover True Romance. I think 5 months of True Love and Intimacy everyday, is enduring enough of how her concepts hold strength in my life. This wasn't the only book that helped me in finding this love. However, it was very helpful to me in giving up that painful battle inside - being feminine and what-not. This is a book that I am keeping until I get married. Summary: Worth the purchase: I was worried it would be ...
Review: I have read and browsed quite a few self-help books for single women trying to find mr. right. After hearing about this book from a friend, I browsed it a bit at a bookstore and decided to buy it. I read it over a few days and found that while I didn't agree with everything, I think it's a refreshing way to look at dating and relationships. The biggest lesson I've learned is that I essentially teach men how to treat me. I have been following some of her tips and have found many of the things she says to be true. This books doesn't just stop once you have found that person but it also has plenty of information on how to stay happy in your relationship and deciding whether or not you need to leave it. Most of her suggestions seem like common sense but may take a little bit of practice to follow. I would recommend this book to all single women who have problems finding a relationship or keeping one.

Summary: Excellent book! Good advice!
Review: I was a little skeptical after reading the title. I wasn't about to "surrender" to no man. When I am right, everyone is going to know it. I am independent, confident, intelligent and strong. A man better recognize all of that. If he can't see that, then he needs to move out of the way.
Well, all of the above is the reason why I really needed to read this book.
Surrendering is not about bowing down to a man...It is about releasing emotional/psychological control in relationships. That means...No ultimatums, tantrums, mindgames, or screeching. It is about getting to the root of what makes you a screeching madwoman - generally insecurity.

Review: I'm getting married in two months, thanks to this book. I read it right before meeting my fiance, and, had I not followed the advice given to me in the book, I never would have met him. It's a must-read for all single women who are sick of getting their hearts broken and wonder "what am I doing wrong?"

Review: Laura Doyla, I want to thank you from every cell of my now sweetly-taken-care-of-by-a-lovely-man heart for writing The Surrendered Single! Honestly, and I am not even exxagerating, I picked up the book, dedicated a Saturday afternoon to reading it, cried, laughed, put on lipstick and MET A MAN THAT DAY!
I read and reread the 1st date chapters, followed the directions verbatim, and have entered into a barrier breaking relationship with a man in which I feel relaxed, coveted and cherished. I keep the book by my bed for subsesequent follow up, support and guidance! In fact, I feel SAFE having the book near by for all occasions. It saves me from myself, my over-thinking head and over-generous doing in the past.
For the first time EVER, I am allowing the man to be the man and it feels sooooooo good! This is saying A LOT from a ballsy, kick-ass, proactive, go get'em kinda woman.

Summary: Single Woman's Bible to Dating
Review: Laura Doyle has such an amazing, gentle and honest way to help you along the road of dating blissfully. Since I started to follow the surrendered single way of dating I am attracting a much higher quality of man. I have learned that I can still be a strong independent woman, while being feminine and adored by a man at the same time. While it is a growing process, sometimes one that is uncomfortable. I am learning so much about myself and what I want in a relationship. I am learning to let men treat me like a real lady and I am not settling for any less than I deserve. I have also learned that things are not always what they appear to be so if I think a man is half way decent I will give him a chance to take me out. I have been pleasantly surprised now that I have learned to put away my "check list" in what I want in a man. I actually enjoy dating now. Sometimes it is still uncomfortable but the book has given me so many new tools to use to help me along the way.
I recommend Laura's books to all woman I know, married and single.

Summary: This changed me!!!
Review: Like many of us I tried dating like a feminist (e.g. insisting to pay my way). No surprize, it did not work. So a friend insisted that I read this book, although it had the horrible "surrender" word in the title. From the first date with the love of my life everything was different as I surrendered, and today he is still my knight in shining armour. I know I would not have given him the opportunity to surprize and spoil me had I not read this book. It works like magic!!!

Review: Since buying this book five months ago, I have nothing but rave about it to my single girlfriends, cousin and even suggested my mom buy the Surrendered Wife.
Laura Doyle has put between two covers a kind and gentle approach to dating, one that is respectful of women and reminds us that dating is supposed to be fun, not painful! Each of Doyle's techniques is a way of weeding out the bad dating prospects from the good ones. Who doesn't need help in that respect? But best of all, I am excited about dating and looking forward to meeting my own "good guy".
