Summary: Can't afford not to read...
Review:
Very scary that this book actually makes sense. It explains the battle between Light and darkness. Although somewhat disturbing, it is definitely worth the read. The book provides you with the tools to protect yourself from being manipulated by outside sources which you are probably unaware of.
I would want all of my friends and family to be aware of this book.

Summary: Can you see the Polarity?
Review: Anyone looking at the reviews can see the extreme difference in opinion of this book. You either love it or cannot grasp what it's about. I have read similar texts by different authors! Anyone ever wonder why the Gnostic texts disappeared? Why did the Mayans, Atlantians and Egyptians go POOF? Where did they go? HMMMMM, 6th dimension maybe? The elves, I know they reside there. They had to leave earth because of the low frequencies. Lord of the Rings is closer to history than sci fi, but through sci fi it's more digestable.
Most of you who rated 1 star would love anything by Laurence Gardner (tounge in cheek). It's hard to believe this type of information, it is shocking. But the control of humans is not new, any blind person can see that. Look at politics, media, corporate structure, war. People are where they are supposed to be. That's the beauty of being human and free will. Anyway, we all can't go to planet two can we?

Summary: IS THIS FOR REAL??
Review: First of all, I did not know Lynn passed away (?) I just finished two of her books, kind of getting the cart before the horse...as I am just now reading EMYLIW - I was at Borders and was brousing about looking for something, not sure what I wanted to read, but feeling sort of 'out of sorts' with all the pressures I was under with family stuff, etc. (We've all been there, or are now...)
As I was looking I saw the title, Dear God... Well, it just grabbed my soul; and it was sooo consoling the first few lines as she was asking how we were feeling, and I thought, "right on" and was hooked to read the rest which I did in very short time! My daughter also read it and we quickly bought the other title of Planet Two. Whew... what can I say?? Dear God, if this info is true, wow, what a RIDE! I did say the prayers, thinking they are lovely, but, but, but! So I am still deciding somewhere in the depths of my soul how to handel all of this; so much, so fast. And there is this nagging 'someting' in me that wants to trash it. Period. But I just can not and am not sure what my next decision will be in regards as to whether this is true or not.
Lynn had some courage to present all this to the rest of us! I will have to say that, but bottom line, I am still trying to spiritually digest it and decide. I know Christians expect the Rapture to be pretty soon, so it may all tie in? Just not sure...a lot to think about. And then there's the matter of 2012. I will just try to remain a caring person with love to give and know indeed that God is totally in control, no matter what awaits us down the road...

Summary: Perplexing Message from Lynn's Website
Review: Here is the URL to the Mystery of Lynn being "GONE".
I went to her website:
http://www.lynngrabhorn.com/messagefromlynn.htm
and found this message in the first paragraph:

"A Message From Lynn...To all my friends, family, and the rest of you wonderful guys... My work here on this planet is done, and I've now joined others of the Light in a higher dimension to help facilitate the forthcoming "Birth" that this planet and universe is about to experience..."

So she wrote the message while alive, and perhaps she is, who knows where?

I checked with CNN, ABC news - zero, nothing about her being deceased.
Very mysterious and sad indeed.

Summary: Spiritual Dynamite !
Review: I bought this book 5 days ago . The only reason I started perusing through it is because I previously read Ms.Grabhorn's EMYLIW. I too thought some of the subject matter a wee bit controversial. As soon as I started reading it,rings of familiarity and deep recognition of truth started to resonate within my being. There are many versions of this story out there, the battle in the heavens etc and Ms.Grabhorn simplifies it with her wonderful sense of humor so even a blockhead like myself can get back my spiritual essence. So to you harsh critics out there, have an open mind and soul and give this little gem a chance!

Summary: Lynn Grabhorn has passed away and no-one's saying how
Review: I just read this book last night. Got a bit of a shock like many of you so came to the internet to discuss. I must say I have found the reviews ALL of you guys have written far more enlightening than the book itself. In that sense congrats to all of you, amazon, and the intrenet itself!

By stark - and I think very telling - contrast, Lynn's website and links on it to the site of her counsellor "Esatays" are not exactly enlightening. There's not much said about Lynn's death. A note from her saying she is happy and "with the Light" and continuing her work, and one from Esatays saying she had suffered an illness for some time and chose to "leave".

As many of your great reviews have pointed out, there's just way too much contradiction within and between this book and Lynn's first. And that has left me with more questions than answers - about the subject matter of BOTH books.

I'd like to know if anyone has actually applied the fundamental and age-old metaphysical principles that Lynn re-wrote about in Excuse Me... and actually got benefit from them... Like, felt really really safe and certain that misfortune, poverty, accidents, and physical and mental illness could not come into their lives? I've real lots of self-help authors from NV Peale to Wayne Dyer to Louise Hay, Marianne Williamson, Stuart Wilde, Deepak Chopra, and this whole genre seems to follow a pattern:

Book number 1 retells the "thought is energy and you can create your own reality" story in a very upbeat way: Positive thinking, visualising, feeeeling, whatever will bring about great change in your life. These books usually become a best seller because they offer simple answers to the ills that plague us. Their titles leap off the shelves at bookstores because they are attractive, I mean, who wouldn't pick up a book that said "The Answer to all your pain and sufering and how you can have everything you want right now is in here"

Then come the follow-up books with all the reasons why the core principles don't actually work so simply. All the complexity kicks in here and the excuses for why your chosen reality didn't manifest are given.

I have to say though, that Lynn's explanation and personal experience is one of the most fantastical I have read. Her suffering isn't a good advertisement for the first book. Did it not occur to her to just accept what maybe we are all too afraid to accept. That maybe we don't create our own reality? Maybe we are victims and maybe stuff does just happen to us? I'd hate for that to be the truth, but how many of you who liked Excuse Me, actually turned your lives around by applying the techniques?

Of course, I did the affirmations in Dear God (just to be on the safe side!) but I find any philosophy that excludes ANYONE from the light as being hard to accept as coming from a loving god. What about The Others? I mean these guys, if they do exist, sound like they need some serious love!

Summary: Great
Review: I think this book is great. Now that I can blame every negative thing in this world on dark forces, that feed off of negative emotions and become more powerful, nothing can get me emotionally negative ever again. I am naturally a positive person, and the only thing that ever brought me down was reacting to this worlds negativity. Viewing the world Lynns way took away my "guilt" for not feeling bad for anyone, the biggest source of negative emotions throughout my life. Also, I no longer get feel anger towards people who hurt this world, because I know its not really them. I can now love everyone unconditionally. Something I was not previously able to do.

Summary: Is Lynn Gone?
Review: It bothers me that this book contradicts everything in the EMYLIW book. That book was like a bible to me for two years. And yes, it did change my life. Is Lynn really gone? *Gone* as in dead? Why is it that I can't find a single article about her death on the Internet? This woman writes a best-selling book and NOWHERE on the Internet is there even the tiniest article about her death? NO ONE has reported on it? I find it hard to believe. If this is a hoax I'm through with Ms. Grabhorn.

Summary: Mystery Solved in strange "disappearance"
Review: Lynn has made a great contribution to the planet. As a Lightworker, when she speaks of moving on to a higher dimension, she may be alluding to one that includes a more refined body that transcends the third dimension. More capabilities, less density. I would be willing to bet she is having alot of fun while working on the grid. Far out but don't THINK about it. Meditate on the possibilty so your MIND doesn't tell you it's impossible. After all, almost anything is possible! Remember "In my Father's house are many mansions." Creation is unlimited.

Summary: I'm so sad I am angry!
Review: Some reviewers condescendingly say that those who disliked this book are choosing to be "unconscious". How quaint! How about an alternative explanation. We KNOW all this gibberish already, since it is a take-off on the basic Christian story restated in New Age metaphysical terminology. We also know all this gibberish because it is a constant in much popular doom and gloom conspiracy literture, e.g., David Icke, Gordon Michael Scallion, Ed Dames, Stuart Wilde, and about 10 million right wing fundamentalist ministers.

Want to hear the same stuff for free? Listen to the late night radio talk program Coast 2 Coast. After a couple weeks, you'll be up to speed with this particular meme, but probably will be a much less happy and healthy person. Anyone out there remember Flip Wilson as he dressed in drag and blamed every ill event on "The devil made me do it". How insane that Lynn went from such metaphysical light BACKWARDS to this standard "victim" mentality so fostered by controlling religions.

What is so ironic is that her first book EMYLIW stated the truthful inspiring message (which she also did not invent but just restated) that we create our reality through the vibration of our thoughts, fueled by our feelings.

So what then brought all this misery into Lynn's life? LYNN!! She seems to have trashed her first book's premise, and instead says we are all victims to the big bogeymen, the "Others" who are to blame for everything bad. Isn't that a total contradiction of the first book?

What I suggest might be going on here is that Lynn is a very disturbed person who goes from one "solution" to another, eager and excited by one strategy of life after another, only becoming restless when her own inner-demons surface. Instead of swinging pendulums around and talking to discarnate channeled beings, I suggest a loving and compassionate professional THERAPIST!!

She has chosen to project her inner-demons (as so many fundamentalists do!) out into the cosmos and then proclaim (like the standard fundamentalist preacher) that THIS is real, and you better believe it or you are going to hell (or Earth 1, that being the current Earth while all the goody two-shoes go to Earth 2). She actually believes in the evangelical Christian rapture, even though that is no where scripturally supported except via wild imaginings. DOes she even think about the power of the subconscious?

I've been involved in metaphysical literature and practice for 40 years (yes, I am an old codger), and there is NOTHING really new in this book. Hell, people suffering alien abduction claim they made such agreements to endure such pain before this life time. Either you find that an affirmation of what Lynn writes, or proof that she has a talent of merging the latest trends into her own work.

For her sake, I hope she soon gets restless once again and leaves behind this mentally ill gibberish, and seeks again the LIGHT that was given to her via the Hick's materials. My life has improved substantially from the Hick's materials, including recovery from a painful long term chronic illness and great wealth allowing me to retire early. Lynn has taken a great gift (undoubtely given to her by her TRUE Higher Self) and thrown it in the trash, replacing it with standard fear based drivel.

Lynn can take her dark spooks and shove them where the LIGHT don't shine! Something tells me she'd get a kick out of that. More's the pity. It is very sad to see what has happened to Lynn.
