Summary: Great Book AND Free Red String! Finally...
Review: ...there is a quick and insightful way to learn what all the hype is behind the trendy bracelet that is actually a very powerful tool. After reading this book, you want to wear it for the rest of your life and you also want to discover more about Kabbalah. This book is a great place to start making your life a better, less negative place to be.

Summary: where's the Red String?
Review: As reviewer MK noted, the red string package did not come with the book. You get a little card giving you a website address, which actually isn't the one you need to get the string. The best way is to go to www.kabbalah.com and search for red string. You have to set up an account, and pay $7.20 in shipping fees. The book is small, but well written. Just know ahead of time what to expect....

Summary: PRACTICAL WISDOM in a COMPACT FORMAT
Review: I had been looking forward to reading this book for months. It was smaller than I expected and therefore I think it could have been a little more inexpensive (as compared to other Kabbalah Centre books that are bigger and around the same price), but the book does an excellent job of offering practical wisdom in a compact form.

Because of it's brevity, first-time readers may have difficulty understanding some concepts (like that the string is worn on the left side of the body because that is the receiving side), but if I had to recommend books for the first-time learner, this book would come in as a close second to Berg's updated "The Power of Kabbalah."

Summary: FUN YET DEEP! LIGHT READING YET PROFOUND!
Review: I just finished reading an advance copy of the book. Wow. I never read a book so simple, yet so insightful at the same time. Not only do you learn about the secrets of the Red String, but this book also reveals the meaning of life and why this physical world and humankind was created in the first place. There is more wisdom in these pages than all the "religious" books I have read throughout my life. I'm glad it's a quick read. I want to read it over and over because there are many layers of meaning in each page. Bravo!

Summary: where is the red string?
Review: I wanted to check the hype behind the kabbalah center and purched this book with "one click" on amazon. Amazon promises the book comes with a red string package. The book came swiftly--all few tiny pages of it-- and no red ring. Instead it has a note inserted with a link or phone number to go to in order to receive the red string. When you go online the site urges you to buy a new book instead. Without the red string the text itself is not worth the money. I'm going to try to return mine: first time since I began shopping on amazon.com.

Summary: Not a new concept
Review: My grandmother and mother alway pinned a red ribbon on the left side of their children to ward off the "evil eye". This they learned from my great grandmother and her mother before. My sister and cousins all do the same. Only difference - we are Italian and Catholic. It is the malocchio - evil eye. No great mysticism there.

Summary: Do Not be Fooled!
Review: The Berg family of "Rabbis" are nothing but fakes! Sorry to break it to you out there, but the red string means absolutley nothing! Do you actually believe that a red string will ward off the 'Evil Eye'? I mean come on! The Bergs are nothing more than TV evangelists who are in it for the money. I am Jewish and religious and the fact remains that Kabbalah is reserved for Jewish scholars who are learned in bible and advanced in all aspects of Judaism.

Summary: This is an awesome book!!!
Review: This has proven to be one of the best books I have read all year! I would suggest it to anyone with an open mind and a desire to learn about Kabbalah. A great introduction to Kabbalah, it also goes into great detail explaing why the red string is so powerfull. I wear mine to remind myself that to have positive energy come to me, I must send out positive energy!!! Whether you call it Karma, Tikkune, or cause and aeffect, this is a universal law we all live by. Whether we are aware of it or not.

Summary: Yehuda Hits a Grand Slam
Review: Yehuda Berg never ceases to deliver or amaze with his remarkable work and amazing insight, which is easy to understand and applicable to our daily lives. This is one of his best works yet, which is comparative to both "72 Names of God" and "Power of Kabbalah". If you are interested in understanding why we are depressed, lonely, without energy, and often feel like the world has fallen apart at the seams, then this book will help answer all those questions. Yehuda Berg believes EVERYONE should be able to have access to the secrets of the universe which in the past has been limited only to scholars in the past. I am glad, I am part of the "everyone".
