Rating: Summary: Great for the gifted! Review: I bought a copy of this book years ago at a national conference for parents and teachers of gifted students. It is invaluable! The activities challenge kids to think. I have purchased this book as a gift for my daughter who's also a teacher. No teacher of bright students should be without this book.

Rating: Summary: A great book for self-discovery Review: If you believe there's no one type of intelligence, then this book is for you. The tests are fun and challenge every part of your brain. By the time you're done, you'll have a much better understanding of your own skills.

Rating: Summary: Fun, Accurate Testing Review: The tests in this book are both fun and accurate. I aced the sections in which I know I have a high level of ability, and flunked those in which I have a low level of ablility. At the beginning of the book there is an IQ test, but most of the tests judge a certain, specific ability. The abilities tested include mathematics, vocabulary, art judgement, memory, creativity, and analysis. Each test comes with a seperate answer sheet (at least one, sometimes more) that you can detatch and photocopy if you want to reuse it. Each test comes with an explanation of the abilities involved and an interpretation of test results. The tests are fun and judge a wide range of abilities, so everyone is bound to do well on at least one or two tests. This is definitely a good buy for people who want to know more about themselves and their abilities.
