Summary: Should be "some things" low carb
Review: Some of the recipes in this book are keepers, but a lot of them make you wonder if they've really thought through the low-carb idea. For instance, there's a recipe for "Glazed Bananas." Bananas by themselves are off-limits for most low-carbers, but this recipe suggests adding honey to the mix. At 20 carbs per serving this treat is described as "moderate."

Nutritional reporting is minimal. No calorie counts are reported for recipes. Carb counts include fiber, and fiber is not reported on its own, so good luck figuring out net impact carbs.

Dana Carpender's 500 Low-Carb Recipes is a much better bet.

Summary: this one's a keeper
Review: This is a great book because the recipes are creative, easy to prepare, and very flavorful. I had a dinner party using some of the recipes, and all of my friends went out and bought the book. We're groupies!
