Review: As a husband and pastor who works with many marriages, healthy and otherwise, I am most impressed with this book. The title doesn't really do it justice as it addresses a diverse range of subjects related to intimacy in marriage. The book is refreshingly honest and practical - addressing the issue of sex and intimacy with forthrightness, maturity and humor. Though, I know from experience that the greatest audience for books on relationships are women, I can guarantee that men will find this book extremely interesting, useful and fun to read! Way to go Dr. Leman!

Review: Dr. Lehman tells it likes is and gets right to the point. This book really helped me to understand my self, my husband, and our relationship. We have really improved the communication in our marriage.

Review: I was very impressed with Mr. Leman's respect to the woman, her needs, and her personality. This is one of a very few Christian books I've read that doesn't have the "housekeeping's-your-job-so-accept-it-if-you're-a-good-Christian" attitude.

Summary: Way Over- rated!
Review: If I could I would give this book no stars. I did not find anything in this book at all helpful. I bought this when I first got married in hopes that would give me some sort of insight into marriage and my husband. Now 4 years down the line, I learned this book is nothing but rubbish. Foremost I did not care for the author Kevin Leman. He seems like just your typical egotistical male writing a book with the thoughts that all women are fragile little butterflies in a cocoon and all men are barbaric sex maniacs. I am not in anyway a feminist, but unfortunately in alot of marriages the stereotypical "You Jane, Me Tarzan" does not fit. In my case, this was so, which is why this book was of little use to me. I will give it a little credit. In a way, it made me realise how lucky I was that my husband came no where near the way this guy was describing men! Maybe it is a good book for those in "typical" relationships. But, not a good book if you or your significant other falls out of the lines of the "typical" male and female behavior.

Summary: Cleverly written common sense tips for a fabulous marriage!
Review: Leman is a comic with a vital message for healthy marriages. His common sense tips for improving your marriage and your sex life are actually things that can be easily incorporated into your life. His writing style is clever, not churchy. Although, you know the message he delivers has a Christian foundation. This book was a blessing in my marriage.

Summary: Best Book on Marriage I Have Read.
Review: Sex Begins in the Kitchen ... is more than just a book about sex. It's about the husband/wife relationship including topics like birth order, previous sexual relationships, and communication. This book is written by a man who understands both men and women and is able to explain things in a way both sexes can understand. His comedy keeps heavy issues light enough to deal with without watering down the importance of the message. I would recommend this book for couples who are having trouble, those in good times and for those who are engaged.

Summary: Sex and Kitchen?
Review: What does a mess left in the kitchen have to do with sex?... Gentlemen, you will be surprised! :) I would recommend this book to both engaged and already married couples. There are so many things to learn - and adjust to - when two people join together in marriage; there are differences in personality, temperament, upbringing. This book will help you to prepare for all that and more - or to get back on the right track if your marriage could use some advice.
