Summary: You Are Powerful
Review: After I read The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by this author, I realized that I had gotten ahold of something worthwhile. Murphy expresses principles of believing in yourself in a way that most people can grasp and use. He does not talk in circles or make anything mysterious. His book Your Infinite Power to be Rich is fairly short and very specific to people who are struggling financially. Even highly productive people can face financial problems. I'm sure you've heard that your attitude can make a big difference in your life, but so can your imagination. Readers who think Murphy is advocating thought alone do not understand that your thoughts can lead you to specific, intelligent actions. We are all much more intelligent than we think we are, and Murphy helps us realize this. Everything in this book will enrich and enhance your life. You, the reader, have the power to recognize this and use your mind. You have the power to benefit from this book and use your intelligence in the profitable ways that Murphy has been generous enough to share. It's your choice.

Summary: Wisdom & Good Guidance
Review: Another great title in this great metaphysician's valuable body of work. All the well-known laws of prosperity are covered in the author's engaging style, followed by the familiar testimonies of various people's experiences. Useful affirmations and information on visualisation are provided in Murphy's inimitable style. I admire the simplicity of his writing and his talent for clearly explaining the laws of mind. His non-dogmatic view of "tithing," which he explains as giving with love, is not about only money and especially not about percentages, but about cultivating the right spirit of giving in all areas of your life. There are numerous quotes from people like Emerson, Gibran, Longfellow and from the Bible. Fortunately, Murphy's interpretation of these biblical statements make sense in the light of psychology. A highly recommended work of wisdom and good guidance.

Summary: Bless Anyone Who Has Wronged You
Review: Because "Think Yourself Rich," another book by this author, doesn't have an option to review, I'm using this other book, to express how powerful Joseph Murphy's lessons are.

On the first page, he say's, "You are here to express the fullness of life every day." This is a very powerful statement. And one that leads all readers to say, "Okay, that's true. And how do I do that?"

In asking your subconscious mind how to do this, you will create a mental movie of yourself expressing the fullness of your life. And you will find yourself, as I have found myself focused upon possibilities, instead of what I call, "brain freeze."

Reading Joseph Murphy's books will lead you to develop yourself on 5 levels: financially, socially, intellectually, spiritually, and mentally. You can't help but to become more prosperous.

A small example of how I have benefited from the lessons in this book was something that I experienced, just last week.

I had been commissioned by a family who had inherited a ranch, to write an article for the local papers, which would not only benefit the family who inherited this ranch, but also the people who I interviewed.

At first, I went into brain freeze, telling myself, "Boy! This really isn't journalism. It's major sucking up."

Then, the night before it was due in to be presented to my clients, as I read more from "Think Yourself Rich," I decided to "sleep on all that I could write, for the benefit of everyone."

I woke up writing a story that has touched everyone's life, while everyone involved has already prospered, in every sense of the meaning.

Read Joseph Murphy's books, because, your life is a gift to you. "You are here to express life and to release your hidden talents to the world."

Summary: Great Content, but Overlong
Review: I have no criticism over the content of this brilliant book. It is a book that should be read in conjunction with Wallace D Wattles book, The Science of Getting Rich, and The Silva Method. The 3 books complement each other brilliantly.

The book is a blue print, of how to use and what to say to your subconcious mind, to bring wealth into your life. The book is littered with real life examples of people using the authors affirmation techniques to great effect, counterbalancing any skepticism about affirmation techniques.

Maybe a better title, that sums this book up more succinctly could be, How to use the Power of Your Subconcious Mind To Create Riches.

So the book is about mental focus and how to use affirmations to materialise wealth by creating a prosperity conciousness. This is done by remodelling the content of the subconcious mind.

The only criticism I have of this book is that after 4 chapters the reader has got the idea, behind the concept, but the author keeps going for another 11 chapters. I am not saying that the other 11 chapters are a waste of time, they are not, but I feel the content could have been condensed into less space.

It does get a little boring towards the end. This can be forgiven, because it is the results that will come from reading this book, that are important thing to bear in mind.

If the reader applies the content of this book, with the faith that The Science of Getting Rich will instill, and the conceptual nature of subconcious mind control as covered in The Silva Method, the reader will reap incredible results from this mini course in getting rich.

Recomended.

Summary: A must read book
Review: I have read the book and have benefited from it. At first I was skeptical but I have been diligently doing what the author recommends and my finances have improved tremendously. Having been the first book Iv read by Joseph Murphy, I was surprised by the author's approach (I was not aware of his background.) With that being said I encourage everyone to read this book and I look forward to reading his other titles.

Summary: If these "think and grow rich"..
Review: If these authors really believed that you could "think" and grow rich, they would include a money back guarantee on the sale of their book. Even better, they could give the book out free and have you pay only if their techniques worked. Murphy has written a few good "new Thought" books, but this is silly.

Summary: Repitition of Think and Grow Rich
Review: Read this book and thought this author must have just taken all the ideas from Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich". If you want a book with muscle, that's the book to read. Otherwise if this is the first book on wealth you read, you might find this book enlightening.

Summary: Still a worth book to read
Review: This book is worth reading as I always appreciate what John Murphy's mental concept. However, compared to his great work "The power of your subconscious mind", this book seems a little bit disorganised. It begins with the concept of thinking and visualisation of you already possessed the money, with lots of his examples. I feel fat after reading only few chapters. And if you are not Christian, please be patient that the author has quoted lot of things from Bible, which may only be acceptable by some people. Personally, I still prefer to re-read the "the power of your subconscious mind". For action to improve the debt, I suggest a small book called "The Riches in Barylon city"(sorry I forget the exact name, will Amazon help to quote?), it talks about save 10% of your earnings each month (or use additional 10% of your earnings to repay debt). This small book really help clear my credit card debt from deep trouble. Though I still find John Murphy's book worth reading, I also suggest other books written by the author of "Chicken soup for the soul" Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen, like "The power of focus", "Dare to win". Anyway, the main concept of them are to think you have already possessed wealth and success, for Jack, he also highlight we should set as many goals as we can.

Summary: Positive and inspirational. It change my thought patterns.
Review: This book transformed my belief system--how I view the world, people, and myself. After reading this book, I really began to realize that I am the captain of my own fate; that I determine my own destiny just by the manner in which I think. Highly recommend this book to those who want to feel and see a positive change in their life.
